Making Things Harder than Needed
SERIOUSLY!!
So I have been in an absolute, utter, even inconsolable, state of disappointment.
I changed themes, and I love it… to build on, then publish. Hated it when I installed it on an existing site. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t the Theme’s fault, just my lack of Techno Knowledge.
I finally decided that I was going to have to tear it down, and rebuild, but was looking for a way to do just that. (Ex: clone site, or whatever… again Techno Challenged).
I have sat down MANY times to do this, and get overwhelmed by the task… and to think TwAck finds overwhelming a good thing LOL.
As per my usual routine, I have my coffee, read posts here, comment (if the caffeine has kicked in), and start my day.
Today, I read, and reread a few posts, and decided that I could rebuild this site, and keep everything I needed… Chugga Chugga… (Stolen from T).
For those of you who understand these Techno things this will make you laugh…. and laugh hard. I did.
I have tried, and tried to fix the issue at hand, to no avail. I stop before Rabid Squirrel throws my computer out the second floor window, and do something else. (Before today’s adventure, the Squirrels and I sent Rabid off to read the Political section of the paper. Best to get him out of the way for now).
So, today, I braced with more caffeine, I take on the site. With trepidation, the Squirrels and I approach the site in stealth mode. Ninja Squirrel is in the lead now…
We’re in the site… Ninja steps back, Zen calms my mind, and Knowledge looks at the site. We have prepared and planned for this day. The next 5, or so, hours will be dedicated to this!
Here we go Boys….the time has come!
ONE BUTTON click!! ONE!!! That’s all it took to get things back in order!!! Are you SERIOUS!! I’ve been missing that this whole time??
Enter Mule… his Computer experience is minimal. Think IBM 286… looks at me in disbelief, and wonderment...this my interpretation, it could’ve been shame. Shaking his head, he leaves the office offering no comment.
There is still some editing to be done, but that’s the easy part… I hope!

Nice job on 'button press'. I have 'theme' updates waiting patiently for Godot but as yet I have not mustered the courage to do it. Computer says 'No'
I also, humbly, say thank you for the mention. Really need to think about monetizing the 'Squirrel Clan' I'm sure they could get 'Equity' cards.
