Drug Addiction
Well I'm making great progress here at WA. My first website is coming along very well! I chose a rather uncommon niche. For me this first website isn't about making money. My first website is Living Life After Meth. I am that person. Almost 10 years clean and sober and I want to share my story of recovery with others as well as offer my experiences. It's an enormous transition from homeless addict to full-time wife and mom. There are many challenges that come with recovery.
I've wanted to create a website for addicts and recovering addicts alike for a long time now I just didn't know how. I want them to be able to ask questions and share their experiences with me. When you're in recovery it's hard to talk to someone who has no clue what it's like, it's much easier to open up to someone who has walked down that road and knows exactly how you feel and how very real the struggle truly is.
All I want is to let people know that there is hope and you can quit. Life has so much to offer and I hope this website will open the door and connect me with people who need someone to encourage them, someone to talk with them, someone to point them in the right direction. But most importantly, to reassure them that they are not alone! There are hundreds of thousands of us out there. We need to rally around each other and support each other in our recovery. Starting over, clean and sober. :)

Oh wow! It's like I just read my own life :) and I did exactly the same, started a recovery website, sharing my experiences. We should guest blog our stories? Or perhaps link references to each other's websites? Let me know if you would be interested!

That is a very courageous thing for you to do , i am more than certain there alot of people you can help . i can honestly say i wish i had something like that as a resource while i was trying to get dry from the whisky. my best wishes i know you'll do alot of good, and god bless

What a fantastic idea from someone who has experienced addiction and had the strength to overcome it. You are an inspiration Tera!
A very noble and commendable goal. Looking forward to having a look at this website once you're ready to share it with the WA community. I fully appreciate that you wouldn't want to be "selling products" on this site, but I bet there are still ways to make some money on it, if you would wish. It just might be enough to pay for the hosting, domain and any other expenses you make in running it.

You look so healthy you don't seem like you've been down that winding road at all. It's great that you have a blog to support addicts. Keep it up.
