The Human Condition
The Human Condition is an extremely sensitive topic to many people but it opens many truths about the inner workings of us the complicated beings. I would like to touch on one of our many battles of success. That is the need to conform. The meaning “comply with rules, standards, or laws” “behave according to socially acceptable conventions or standards” “be similar in form or type; agree.” If you look closely to the above meaning, you will take note that this is not one of the ingredients of success, but we are programmed to conform. It is a safety mechanism programmed in us over millions of years of evolution. Conforming strips us from our identity transforming us to someone we are not. I would like to take one person in history that refused to conform. Henry Ford is one of these individuals that refused to conform to the notion that his ideas of a horseless cart would not be a success. Henry Ford:“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” He believed that he is the professional and he will tell people what they want…. I think this is hilarious but such an eye opener.
If you are here, then you are one of these powerful people in history that started by not conforming, not following and not agreeing to everything everyone says. You think outside the box, you believe that life has more to offer and you are much more than a salary that someone decides you are worth.
I leave you with this. People will ask you why you are doing something different, they may say that it’s not going to work. If all these questions are being placed before you… then my friend you are doing something right, keep on doing what makes people question because different sells.

Well said and really an eye opener. We are afraid to break the "mold" as we speak. This has been handed down to us from our ancestors who lived a totally different life from what we currently have and doesn't it make sense that we should really break away from this in a way that will be most appropriate with the times....21st century. I agree that sometimes this could be a barrier to our success.
Thanks for the comment. I agree with you 1 million %. Wish you great success on your journey…:)
