Changing Gears
Taking a Break
I've spoken to some awesome members here about my situation. I've had to focus on family for several month now to provide my undevided attention to. Life happens and the mental clarity I have found has proven to be exactly what I needed.
I miss the banter among members here and all of the advice that was given to me is and always will be appreciated and heartfelt, thank you all for being there when I needed you.
Changing Gears
By changing gears, it's allowed me to realize my other dreams and hopes of becoming successful and have found something I'm really excited about, I just need to get over the fear of rejection and jump into wholesaling properties.
I'm at the learning stage and don't feel comfortable yet with action, but I'm steadfast and moving forward with my new endeavor.
Burned Myself Out
The biggest lesson learned while at Wealthy Affiliate was that when I first started out, my eyes were huge and I thought I could get there faster if I had more than one website, so I ended up with 7 sites.
Instead of concentrating on one site and making it successful, I was drowning in the time to keep them all going and wound up getting burned out from all the long hours as well as staying up all night to figure out how to fix them behind the scenes.
Good Lesson for Newbies
For all of the newbies, trust me when I say, stay with one website and build on it everyday. Eventually you'll have what you came for and you won't get overwelmed like I did.
Imagine being a newbie and taking on 7 sites that you haven't even learned how to use the codes or fix your site when it slows down because of wrong dimensions with you images and many more problems that you don't know because you're still learning.
Amazon was my last straw
Heads up on Amazon... I worked very hard to set up many products on my sites. But, if you don't make a sale with-in 180 days, they will dump you. This happened to me, twice.
If I'd have only stuck with one site, I might have been able to pull it off. So, for all the newbies, please take this to heart and stay true to your niche and stick with ONE site!
Fair Well For Now
I've cancelled my subscription and won't renew all of my sites as some have automatically renewed at this point, I may come back but I'm just not ready yet.
If I do, I will take my own advice and only have one site!
Thank You Wealthy Affiliate
WA was good for me in a lot of ways, I learned so much about owning your own website and what it takes to keep it going. I've learned how to fix things that go wrong in the back office and I'm proud of myself for that.
Thank you WA for all the lessons and wealth of information you gave me, the platform is number one in my book and I hope to hook up with you all down the road.
Sincerely,
Sher58
P.S.
The price is right for anyone needing a website, as it covers so much of the cost for any website to keep running right. It's unbelievable, the costs that add up when you're on your own, (another lesson learned) thank you again.

Best of luck to you. I would not delete any of your sites in the event if you come back as the sites take time and get trusted on the web. I just renewed my year subscription for another year and hope all goes well. Does take time and effort as I found out so far.
Thank you for your response Jas, I have 5, so I backed them up today. Yes, it takes time for sure, hope it's coming along for you, best wishes to you for success and happy Holidays to you.
