Best Ways To Make Money In 2017!
After doing a bit of research online, I'm going to list some of the best ways to make money in 2017, according to the general consensus out there in cyber world.
Resume Writing
I don't know how much money can be earned for writing people's CV's, but resume writing seems to pop up repeatedly. Could be a good little sideline gig for anyone who has a talent for this.
Create An Online Course
I'm yet to try this one, but I know many members here at Wealthy Affiliate have created courses that they either sell online or give away to entice email subscribers. I think an eCourse is something that will actually increase in popularity over the coming years.
Editing
There are calls going out for good editors of all kinds everywhere online. So many people either write books or content these days, that many more than ever before are in need of a competent editor to polish their work.
Managing Social Media Accounts
Many business owners are too busy to do this themselves, so they outsource the work. This could involve answering comments and messages, or even writing targeted social media posts. Jobs for this are everywhere lately. Some don't pay much, but again could be something to top up the income, working in your own time.
Freelancing
This could be freelance writing of website content, blog posts, ghost writing eBooks and other material, or it could be computer programming, photography, video, app creation, graphic design. There is a huge call for freelancing these days. If you try this, research what you are likely to get paid on some of these freelancing sites, as the pay rate is often very low, or plummets during a bidding war to get the work.
Virtual Assistant
This is akin to being a personal assistant or office all rounder in the virtual world. Many people here in the Philippines (where I am at the moment) do this type of work for businesses in western countries. VAs answer phone calls and emails primarily, among other tasks.
Instagram Influencer
To be paid by companies to promote their brand on your Instagram account, you really need to have a pretty decent following (at least 5000) to even get a look in. Accounts with 100k followers or more in a specific niche can actually earn pretty big money by just uploading one or two photos featuring said product to their own Instagram account. Accounts with followers in the millions? Well, being an Instagrammer will be very lucrative.
Invest In Digital Currency
Digital currencies like Bitcoin could be the safest investment option in the future. I personally don't know much about it, but the more I search the internet for ideas, the more I come across recommendations for buying up big in crypto currencies. Gold is also a popular choice right now.
Online Surveys
These do either pay out in real cash or gift cards, but you are not likely to make much for your time. Still, most surveys I've ever done are legit and you can earn a little extra cash or gift cards for Christmas presents.
Videos
YouTube videos and videos on other platforms are growing by the second. These days everyone is making videos about anything and everything. Build a up a decent subscriber base and monetise your YouTube account and you could make some pretty decent money from advertising revenue.
Make Money Blogging
Well, affiliate marketing really. Many people out there seem to simply call it blogging rather than affiliate marketing, but it's something that appears on just about everyone's "how to make money" list.

I'd love to be an Instagram influencer, where I get paid big money to take one or two photos a day and upload them, but unfortunately my following is nowhere near big enough.
My number one pick with where I'm at right now is blogging (affiliate marketing), and second would be creating online courses to sell.
Thank you for your blog post Darren, I believe that the Internet has opened up so many opportunities, almost too many at times! But at some point we have to decide what niche we are going to focus on and stick with it.
I've found the internet to be a gold mine of opportunity, but like you say, at times there can be too many choices and it's hard to decide on, and stick to, a certain direction.

Hi, How do you have time to write all of this. I work full time and take care of an invalid sister. Do you have some helpful hints?
I have the advantage of not having to work fulltime, so I have more time.
I'm not sure what you're like as a writer, but if you can write really fast, it's better. That way you can get a post done in quick time and don't actually need to allocate as much time to writing content.
Just remember, whatever you write on WA or on your website doesn't have to be a work of art. It just has to be helpful. If it's informative and helpful, most people won't care if it's not perfect or there is a typo or two.
