I think I've been lucky, all my 8 posts have been indexed by Google, but this 9th one I posted last week I'm still waiting to hear, can it take time, or maybe this one might no

They can take up to 3 weeks mine did once I was thinking I
did something wrong but I guess it has to do with the spiders
that crawl the sites. :)
Give it another week then go check your meta and keywords
make sure they line up right.

There is no need to pay anyone to change your theme. The process is simple. How to Change Your Website Theme in Wordpress
Sorry, I probably should have said, How to customize my theme and get full features of it ie all the features are not utilised unless I upgrade. My theme doesn't look exactly like what's displayed so I'm wanting to take advantage of all the features! Does that make sense?
