The WA Highway
As most know, I had to be in Birmingham, AL at UAB hospital for a few days due to an emergency surgery to repair a brain bleed. All is well and I thank you for all the thoughts, prayers, comments, and concerns. There's still a long row ahead to plow, but I am getting there.
While driving through the chaotic traffic of Birmingham, I was inspired to write this blog.
Ultimately, I was in control of my own car and getting to my destination; However, I also had to depend on all the other drivers, detours, exits, yields, stop lights, one way streets, etc. At times I was driving 80 mph and minutes later I was inching along at 15 mph. I had my moments of aggravation and then times of "finally" thoughts.
I began to think about WA and our amazing community here. I paralleled the two. Ultimately, you are responsible of your own business; However, here at WA, we are all on this road. We may be driving different vehicles and heading in different directions, but we still share this amazing highway. We affect each other. The way we drive our business and communicate with each other plays a role in our community.
You have an impact!
You matter!
I couldn't help but smile as I pondered on this. I'm honored to share the WA Highway with ya'll. I wish you all the best in your travels on your way to success.

Shane, Sorry to hear your recent life chaos, but you are still well blessed coming ahead of the game anyone desires to be, and you got it. I am with you and welcome back.
You are exactly right that everything we do will always have some impact to self and others in this world but in the forms of direct or indirect manner, in attesting that the strength of a group represents that from its members' accumulation.
Welcome back in a piece; blessed.
Cheers,
James
Shane, What a great analogy. It could be expanded to include the whole world we live in as we are all connected in some way or other. I am thankful to be in the WA community and I am glad to get an update on you. Glad things went well. I will continue to send love, light and prayers for your journey.
Thank you so much and you are absolutely right. There is so much that could have been expanded on with this, but I was trying my best to keep it short haha. Blessings to you.
Thanks so for posting such thought-provoking words. It kinda makes me think of another great thinker that said "Am I, my brother's keeper"
Much success,
Robert Garrett
