Hi all, Happy Thanksgiving weekend

I wasn't sure how to put this on so i decided to just put it on as a post. i hope that is okay.

First and foremost a very big Thank you to the Support team here at wealthy Affiliate. these great hard working people behind the scenes on this platform whoever you may be.

I have to say i have never dealt with a support like this one before, you all are outstanding at what you do and the service you give is unbelievable, and exceeded all my expectations .

You truly saved the day. Not only did they recover the website i deleted they walked me through to the point where i wanted to be in the first place, and helped me bring it back to the main hub It was just brilliant, I'm so impressed.

I think from this day forward for me when i promote WA it's going to be about the service one can get here. Because nowadays we don't get that kinda service anymore It was very nice to see and made me at ease.

Its great that you managed to get your website restored and as I said to you last week, there is no need for you to delete your website.

As for site support, it really does depend on who you are taking to.

First line of support is very basic and dont understand English very well and are based in India.

If you dont feel that they understood your request, which is what happened to your original site support request, then your request can be escalated to a higher level with an expert.

In a lot of my cases with site support, the problem is too technical for front line site support to handle and it was escalated, I was told what to do but I had already spoken to ChatGPT4 and had addressed the problem myself.

But my website issue at the moment is, I visibly have a robots txt file, but it is not connecting to AIOSEO to actually function, its like have a floating file that isnt connected to a plugin.

The current site support, dont understand that this can be possible, but with all of the training that I have received within Wealthy Affiliate over the past two years , I know that you can have empty or floating files not attached to a program or platform.

I will have to escalate my query to #kyle so i can get an expert to look into my technical issue.

Well that's my bad i must have read it wrong. for some reason. i apologize
and i'm still learning just hit my 6 months yesterday and still got a long road ahead.

you know there are a few people on here that are outstanding with helping besides the site support. With you being one of them so thank you for taking the time to comment and help , truly appreciate YOU.

For where the site support is at. they still did a fantastic job. and like most places here in Canada where i'm from when you contact a support for whatever it may be it's normally outsourced to over sea. and normally no help at all. ended up yelling and hanging up

That's the kind of support i'm used to dealing with they got your money. so who cares. and i'm sure you have gone through things like this before too.

and yesterday when i talked to our support it was about what they could do to help me and gave me everything back i was looking for they made me feel respected and valued chatting with me.

The world needs more of that than the way it's going.

well i hope Kyle can help you with that footing file and i would be interested in reading that just in case that happens to me. Because I'm still just learning and not really sure what you mean by the floating file i hope you get that figured out.

Hi Shawn,

The Wealthy Affiliate site support IS OUT SOURCED, it is outsourced to India, at least that is the option that we have in the UK.

I wasnt aware that you could speak to site support on the telephone?
Is that what you meant when YOU said " yesterday when I talked to our support", did you speak to them on the telephone or online through private chat?

Also, you have no idea who you are communicating with online regarding site support because they never sign off with their name.

There are people from different shifts because of the time zones, if front line site support from India cant solve your problem, the problem is escalated to an expert.

I would have no idea what country that expert is in but you can tell the difference between a frontline site support worker to a site support expert because the reply is explained thoroughly and is more than one line with a screen shot.

Its ok everybody, I have resolved the site support issue myself!

I re-installed my robots.txt file on top of my existing robots.txt file because it was an empty file, which is what I was telling everybody from the beginning.

I imported my Robots,txt manually from my robots.txt URL and RE-installed it on top of the existing file and now I am firing on ALL CYLINDERS.

I would publicly like to thank my personal assistants, ChatGPT and Gemini for supporting me with this issue. Thank You
