Fear, Faith and Love
What a crazy world we are living in these days.
So many reasons and justifications for fear to take hold and keep you captive.
I, being my Father's fulltime care taker, have a lot to be fearful of, and can easily be taken captive and frozen with fear. How can I keep him safe from the Corona Virus? Will I be able to care for him as he declines? Will I be able to provide all his needs in these crazy times? With all the anger, hate and destruction going on around us, can I keep him safe?
All these are good reasons to be fearful. But, I as all the wonderful and amazing people in the world whom still have faith, faith in love! Love is the only thing that CAN and Will overcome fear.
It is the hardest job I have ever had being a fulltime care-taker, but the most fulfilling. I get so frustrated with his stubbornness, but, then I look at him, and this amazing warm feeling of love and confidence in the newly found strength that with God, I have the ability and the fear dissapates.
I see the world as taking care of my father, and WA. If we as a society, would show 1 new person a day the love that we show our most valuable people in our lives, and they would in return show someone else that same love, we CAN defeat fear and all the hate that follows. Let's be united in love and stop the division and hate.
God Bless this Great Country. and ALL, as we were ALL made PERFECT in God's Eye!

I am a carer of a son with special needs. Have been for 30 years. Now I have all these new skills that if I hadn't been a carer, I would never have known. It has deepened my understanding of what matters in life. I work as much as I can but mostly care full time. It's hard to love them sometimes but I'm no walk in the park either. I was sick one year and he went into fulltime care. We both missed each other terribly. So happy to be back together again. Some old problems come back like mountains of paperwork. However back to your blog, yes showing others that they matter is paramount these days. Thank you for your blog. Jen
Thank you Jen, yes it can sometimes be overwhelming, but with live and strength from God, we can overcome anything.
Thanks Cheryl, I think there is a spark of divinity in all of us. Please read my blog written recently. Not to brag but for just for motivation and it may be relevant. I'.m glad we connected. Kind Regards Jen, Success Inspite of Ourselves
