Hi Everyone,
My name is Stacie. I am a single widowed mother. I have one daughter, she of course is the center of my universe.
I currently live in Poncha Springs, Colorado, I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
I wound up in Colorado after meeting my husband in Tuscon, Arizona over 25 years ago. We migrated to Colorado for many personal reasons.
We have lived in a few different mountain towns including, Fairplay, Salida, Breckenridge, and Poncha Springs. I am begining to feel like a Colorado native now.
I have been a bartendar, waitress, dishwasher, prep-cook, sue chef, and head chef over the years of living here.
I am currently a grill cook, and the leader of my shift at a busy little mountain town restaraunt. I don't feel irreplaceable by any means, it is a restaruant after all.
A few years back I decided I was getting a little old for keeping up at such a pace, so I took a college course for graphic design. I got my associates degree, and found that most companies really want a bachelors degree.
I couldn't afford to go back and get my bachelor's degree as my student loans are already too high, increasing them just wasn't a good idea in my opinion.
So I stayed cooking, and looking for something that I would be able to do that would involve my degree possibly, but mainly get me out of the kitchen in the long run.
I came across scam after scam, and then I read my mentor, DenverS.'s blog, about WA and figured I would give it a try. I really wanted something that I could actually do, and possibly find success. And hopefully use my degree at least a little.
My true passion has always been art! I love to draw, that was what inspired me to get my degree.
I never thought I would be designing a website! But reading DenverS.'s blog really pushed me in the right direction.
I figured why not, WA gives me 7 free days to see if I like it, then a month at $20 if I do and may want to stay, which I did. Then I made the plunge and went premium. I also took advantage of the BlackFriday deal as well, so I am paid up for 2 years now in WA.
I figured it was definitely time to update my profile from just a sentence or two about myself. After all it has been almost four months now.
"I am bright, energetic, and eager to create my online business. I have the passion and drive to be successful." -This is my original profile post, short and sweet lol.
I have learned a great deal here so far, and even though my training is complete (not bootcamp), I am still learning new things every single day! I am glad I have two years to focus on my path here.
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.

Working full time is a challenge however you obviously want to dedicate time as you have mentioned in your profile and having an intent and a really strong purpose will get to where you want to go
I do suggest you do all the training offered here at WA as it will give you everything you need to create and build a successful online future for yourself and I wish you lots of learning and growth in the online world

Bill,
Thank you for the great advice! I am looking forward to getting gong the rest of the way, I have an active web page that is waiting for me to fill it with links and content as soon as I learn exactly how to accomplish it. I learn fast, and am having fun with this so I can see doing well will not be a challenge.
