First Non-WA Comment!
My first comment on this newer website that is not from a WA member!! I am so excited!
I just started this website in January or February, so this was exciting to see a comment from a non-WA member.
As you can see, he does not think the comments provided are from real people. Maybe we need to rethink how we are commenting on member's sites, or maybe this guy is too critical of other people's comments lol.
Either way, this totally made my day!!

I think I get more non-wa comments than otherwise...but have been here a long time.
Thanks, we have been members for almost the same amount of time. My first website has great original comments, and a lot from non-WA members as well, with this site being so new, I was a little shocked to have a non-member comment, as I didn't think it was getting much traffic, apparently it gets more than I had thought lol.

Please be sure to exercise caution when accepting WA comments since many of them obviously read like they are not written by a real person.
Robotic-sounding and AI-generated comments can appear deceptive to readers on your site, and Google will consider all comments as part of your post when deciding how to rank your article.

As regards WA site comments, unfortunately, some people are using AI-generated responses, and they do look fake!
They typically just summarize what you have written, and will say something like "this is a comprehensive overview of..." or "the article provides an in-depth review of..." etc.
Don't be afraid to challenge people and reject their comments!

congratz on your first comment from outside,but the guy claiming the comments arent real, could be right, as many members here use AI to comment;-) And I honestly don't like that at all Please dont do this for the comment section on WA! Lizzy

I tend to agree with our members using AI for commenting, sometimes my first comment comes in so lightening fast, that I do not see how that person could have read my article to provide the comment received.
I am going to be a lot more picky about the comments accepted on my post moving forward.
