I Am The Epitome of Don't Give Up!
Why do I say this?
Well, first you have to learn of my struggles, failures, and slight successes.
I am working on my sixth year here at WA, and I have made a world of mistakes.
With all of my mistakes, I have learned, and with my learning, I will be successful. I have faith in the system and myself.
I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!
What Was My Biggest Roadblock
Myself, it seems was my biggest roadblock.
I say this because I cost myself the authority I had gained on my original domain by moving my site to a new domain for 'rebranding'. DO NOT DO THIS EVER!!!
That move was made in line with many other bad decisions I made at that time, like deleting articles that just had started making money. I deleted them out of frustration and life circumstances that were driving me completely bonkers.
I called this stage my self-sabotage stage. I have grown since and have vowed to stop being that guy, as I truly do love myself and want the best for me.
Another roadblock I had put up and have since torn down, I stopped being a part of this community. I was so tied up with the crap in my life, I left off the part that was keeping me sane and keeping me positive. This community is PRICELESS.
Bouncing Back Slowly
I have been making a comeback, slow and steady. This time around, I vow to not move my site to a new domain, and update articles, instead of deleting them.
I also vow not to lose connection with our fabulous community here again. The beacon in the night!
My site is gaining authority again, and I have branched off and created a subdomain for that site, and then got a little ballsy and created a whole new site. So now I am busier than ever keeping up with three sites and a full-time job.
Have I Made Money Yet
Yes, I have made a little. Could I have made more? By all means YES I could have. Is it my own fault that I have not made more money? By all means YES it is 100% my own fault. Have I given up on the prospects of an online business with all the mistakes I have made? Absolutely not!! I am as hard-headed as they get!
Sure, I could be a whiny moper who blames everyone else for their mishaps, but that is dishonest and unfair. Wealthy Affiliate is not to blame for me making the mistakes I made, nor is the community. Had I asked before I made any of the mistakes, I would have been advised NOT to do what I did.
I may have failed myself a little, but, I know that with perseverance and patience, I will be successful again. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!
Staying Positive And Moving Forward
I have been making changes in my life to help maintain positive mental health, to avoid self-sabotage moves. I will share what I feel may be helpful to others.
The most crucial change I made: I treat my websites more like a 9-5 job, and I leave my personal baggage at the door. When I enter work, my personal life does not interfere with my work and cloud my decisions.
Since taking this approach, I have been more focused, and my websites reflect it as well. I also feel this has allowed me more of a professional approach to my sites.
I have also been more responsible. Before I do something that I am unsure of the consequences, I ask this knowledgeable community for your opinions. There is gold in this community, you just need to mine it out.
Future Plans For This Old Gal
Well, number one is to get the three sites I currently have to be successful. They are all pretty much brand new. Even the one I have had for six years I am considering brand new because of all the torture I put it through, there is a lot of recovery for it.
So once they are more stable and making money, I plan to start a fourth site. My fourth site will be dedicated to promoting Wealthy Affiliates, finally. I do not feel obligated at all, but I am super grateful.
While I do not currently promote WA officially, I do have one article on one of my sites that is geared toward making money online and I incorporated WA into that article, and I have shared a link on Facebook a time or two.
Just with those little bits of effort, I get traffic to my affiliate link. I have had numerous clicks and 4 people started free accounts, so far, no paid members, but I am not even really promoting WA. If I was actually promoting, I can only imagine what my stats would look like.
This right here is another reason that I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!! And neither should you!
No matter if you have been here for 2 days or 20 years, raise your glasses and toast to Kyle & Carson for this fantastic opportunity to be a member of this awesome community!

Ginerik,
I was born with the odds against me, determination is all I know. Thank you so much for your encouraging words.
Cheers to a New Year!! 2024 is mine lol

Awesome post Stacie, and way to stay positive. Our mistakes are our friends, because they help to teach us and refine our skills. I'm constantly learning better ways to make the screens I started making and selling earlier this year. It seems like that whole venture has been one long series of mistakes, (you can read my post about it using the following link) Problems or Mistakes Refine Our Processes — An Update on my Screen Making & Sales And, like you pointed out, the important thing is that you kept trying and didn't give up. We really do have the most awesome platform and community available, I think. And I'm with you, I will become successful with WA or I'll die trying, but I'll never give up!
Keep up the positive outlook and attitude, that's the secret to everything!
KLThayer,
Thanks so much! And thank you for sharing your story as well.
I was definitely born a fighter, and will die the same way lol, glad to be on your same team!
Let's rock 2024!! 🥳
Stacie
Self sabotage is a real thing, Stacie, but given your attitude, I don't think you have to worry about it. I look forward to seeing your success take off!
Dave
Daverh,
It for sure is real lol. And thanks for the encouraging words too! I agree that with a great attitude and perseverance, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished.
2024 has great things in store for us all!
Stacie
That is awesome!
I have also been here for several years and picked it up and put it down as time allows but am excited to me making building out my websites a priority in 2024. I look forward to following your journey and encourage you to look into some visualization techniques for staying on track and getting those websites thriving!
Best of luck this year with your 3 (and soon to be 4!) websites :).
Basic,
I love not feeling alone lol. Thanks for sharing. Also, thank you for the tip on the visualization techniques, will definitely be looking into those for keeping on track!
Wahoo to 2024!!

Quitters never win and winners never quit.
With your attitude, you will win. I am similar to you and have had some wins, and more wins....but nothing where I can go, that's it....I will buy that 1 mill house now. lol. But like you, it will happen......Except I want an island...hehe.
Steve
Zoopie,
I love it!! And you are so very correct too!
If you quit, you will never win, that is just a fact. We will have our dream houses on our islands one day hahahahaha
