Long Overdue Update

It's been a while.Too long really. Things have not been great recently, but I think I'm finally pulling out of the dark hole life has put me in.

Mom's Pre-Leukemia turned into Leukemia pretty fast, and it took her from us on July 22nd.

That's her and dad in the cover photo above, and her below... all the shots are from my wedding because why not.

The months since have been full of firsts with her. My birthday, my sister's birthday, Mom and Dad's 55th Anniversary, Dad's birthday, and yesterday was Mom's birthday. We just need to get through the holidays...

And onto my wife and her battle with Breast Cancer, this is her.

At the same time, my wife Julie had her Lumpectomy on June 17th and was starting preparations for her radiation. Things were delayed a bit due to things with mom. In the middle of her month of radiation therapy, we lost Zoey, our Border Collie-Aussie who was an Emotional Support dog for Julie and had become one for me as well. She alerted me to my seizures and got help during longer ones (10-15 minutes).

And here are our girls, Zoey.

And it looks like we'll lose Ruby soon, she's 15 and she has gone downhill fast since losing her sister.

I'm tired of loss. I'm tired of pain. I'm just tired.

Some days it's just all overwhelming, I'm sure. Right now, just keep remembering to breathe, taking each moment at a time. Sadly these losses are all part of life. It's just so tough that they are all happening to you on top of one another. Hang in there, and for whatever it might be worth, we're all here for you. I lost my Mom to cancer as well, and I've lost 3 dogs over the years, so I understand that pain.

So sorry for your losses and many challenges Sean.

Hi Sean
I'm sorry to hear of your losses and good to hear that hopefully, your wife is on the mend.

How you feel is completely understandable. It shows you are a human who cares. I think showing you care is a strength. So even if you are tired right now, you clearly have the strength to get through.

You have been dealing with so much, you must be completely exhausted. So sorry for your losses.
Make the most of Ruby while you have her.
I hope your wife is doing okay now. I know you can get past breast cancer, I did 11 years ago.
Keep moving forward, it will get easier. Look after yourself and give yourself time to recover. ((((Hugs)))

I'm so sorry to hear of your losses, Sean! I'm sending prayers your direction, my friend! Hang in there!

Jeff🙏🙏🙏
