Be the turtle!
I keep reminding myself that persistence is key! Creating an online income is certainly obtainable but you have to keep at it and not quit. Remember "quitters never win". So even though I'm starting over relearning all the new stuff and going over all the old stuff once again, I know I can do this. I'm 71 and its not too late for me to accomplish great things or at least great things in my own experience. The best thing is I'm retired and time spent learning and creating is mostly my own (except for doc visits - lol).
I've been a WA member since 2014 and have kept up my membership all these years with the help of a website client (I built his engineering site) and charge him to keep it updated and hosted through my WA account. That one client has kept me in the game earning about 1/2 of my annual membership fee.
I'm back now in 2025 and deep into learning how to use all the great new features of the WA membership and relearning ones I'm rusty on. My goal now is to get a couple of blog sites running well and earning and then I'll upgrade to Premium Plus membership. I'm Premium now.
So folks, you newbies, keep truckin along even if you feel like a turtle. Remember the old story about the turtle beating the hare.
Have a great day - Shirley

Nothing wrong with being a turtle Shirley as long as we don't give up!
All the very best moving forward my friend! :-)
Shirley, your determination is so inspiring!
It’s proof that staying consistent and never giving up makes all the difference.
Slow and steady really does win the race.
Keep going, you got this. 🐢

Shirley,
I have a plaque in my office that has the following quote: "winners are not people who never fall, but people who never quit. This has kept me going in difficult times.
Jerry
The turtle always wins the race, in the online world the "hares" I see are those that jump from program to program, looking for the next shiny object and ultimately as a result they end up bouncing from one failure to the next.
Focus, work hard, and have some goals for yourself (and work to achieve them). It can and will happen. :)
That's very inspiring.
