I know trust is built by gaining comments, giving responses and keeping content up to date but are there other ways I'm missing or does it just take time?
It does take time to gain trust, but don't let that make you think you won't make any money because you can still do it with a site that doesn't have 100% site trust. Now once your site has aged and does have that trust, you will get ranked faster, so at least you have that to look forward to Stephanie.
It takes time and patience.. Just go along the training (if you're still not done), live video classes and discussions. You can always ask others and the experts for help. We're one heck of a community and awesome to boot so keep going! :)
it is close to 10% per month, give or take a little. :) But Johncruz is correct u can still rank without being at 100%. u can rank at 10% as well just not as fast. Jay here has done a video where he ranked an page on page 1 of Google in like 12 minutes. :) But he had good trust and age and domain authority.
