Keeping Up

I have not worked much at all on my website. I have so many chores, like making the bed, picking up and putting things in place, emptying the dishwasher, cooking dinner, and going to the grocery are just a few. I also keep my grandkids a lot in the summer.

I can't believe that I used to get all this done while working 40 hours a week.

I must get organized.

Sarah

Hi Sarah, be the best you can be. Irv.

Having the same issues, Sarah! It must be a Summer thing! Garage sale today exhausted me, helping my daughter and grandsons. Every day off is like this! I think it will improve in the Autumn. One can hope.

Thanks for expressing this and making me feel more normal!

Lynne

We can do it Sarah.

I know what you mean. I watch my great granddaughter a couple days a week and I love having her; but I don't get anything done on those days; except what I can squeeze in at nap time which usually isn't more than a half hour. Then I have to use another day for mowing lawn and another for cleaning house. I am determined to get at least one post a week in; but I would like to be getting 4 or 5 in. I don't know how some of us here do that; but I admire them. Just keep doing the best you can. It's all we can do. Jeannie

Keep on trying, Sarah.

Keep trying. You can only do your best

Good evening Sarah,

I always say: Hey, I am only 1 person. I can not do the work of 3 in the time of 1. One should lower one's expectation of oneself a bit like that one has less stress.
It might be a good idea to make a time table plan the day before. Like, write down what has to be done, when and how much time you think it will take. If one sticks to this it might well happen that
you have unsuspected time left over, so called "free" time.
You should also enjoy life you know, take a walk, go shopping, or see a film or perhaps a concert and a drink with your friends.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Keep at it Sarah. You'll develop an adjustable rithym!

I have been doing pretty well up until the past two weeks -- adding tasks to our routine that we are not used to can definitely have an effect on things! My daughter's work trip was extended by a week (through this coming Friday) and on Thursday we will pick up my boyfriend's 7-year-old to come spend a month with us before school starts up again! So I am definitely going to have to stay focused!

Everything in its time, Sarah! Plan just one hour a day for your website. You will see, it will do wonders!
