So Many Themes - how to pick the right one?

I'm getting further and further into training. I keep going back to make changes to themes on my sites. I find that the themes to me are the most complicated part of this process. (at least up to this point of training)

Are there some recommendations on how to break down choosing themes? The default setting on the free account seemed to limited but the over 3,000 as a premium member seems to be way to many. Where is the Goldilocks and the three bears option of having it just right?

Any advice or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated, would love to hear how some of you have broken down the themes to have them be easier to choose from. I did start a list as I have been researching various themes but then I felt like I was wasting my time and went back to my training sessions.

You can also look at Iconic One theme I use this and found it to be quite fast and very responsive as well. One of the best free themes I have tried. Also, you will find your site speed will pick up as well.

Wishing you well

I had changed my niche theme three times before I finally settled on the one I have now. I wanted a theme that was clean looking and easily edit headings, background colours etc., However I did it all in wordpress you need to upload more before live previewing each one without publishing so that you can test drive each with your contents.

Do you mind sharing what theme you decided on going with based on your needs of clean looking and easily edited headings?
