Sick And Tired Of Being Sick!
Greetings WA Nation!
As many of you know, I have been sicker than a dog lately. I have been "blessed" with a cough, runny nose, and extreme fatigue since Thanksgiving. Misery loves company, and I have seem to have plenty! We are in the start of the Cold and Flu Season. The Centers For Disease Control in Atlanta have issued warnings that this year's season could be a very severe one. Over 40 states in the US have reported widespread Flu activity, especially on the East Coast. I work on the front lines of a large HMO, and am exposed to many germs, so I decided that I am not going to take this lying down! (No Pun Intended) Here are some tips that I can pass along to each of you:
* Get a flu shot now if it still available
* Drink plenty of fluids
* Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
* Make sure to get lots of sleep
* Stay home from work if you are sick
* Check in with your doctor
Remember Friends........ You cannot be productive and innovative if you are sick. Protect yourself and others, you will be glad you did, and will feel a heck of a lot better!

Sorry you've been so sick, but you offer some excellent common sense advise. Everyone takes care of themselves when they are sick, but few take precautions not to get others sick.

Get better soon Sammi, I went through a bit of the flu a couple of weeks back. Not fun and you really don't realize how much you take your health for granted until you don't have it! Get better soon!
