Honesty Is Important
There is nothing worse then feeling lied to.
I can totally respect someone who can be honest. Especially businesses. I don't like feeling like I am being used for my money. I get that everyone is just trying to make money but if they want repeat customers they should do it in an honest and moral way!
That being said, I make sure that every piece of content I post I make sure I am being 100% honest. When I do a review and I haven't actually purchased the item I let my readers know that. If I have bought the item I give my honest opinion about the item. If it is a recipe I make sure I have made it and the same thing with the crafts I post.
I was recently swindled by a company and I have such a sour taste in my mouth now. I will never do business with them again and that's sad because I am sure I am not the only person they have done this to. In time they will work themselves out of business because no one will want to go back to them.
I will never understand why people lie to make that quick buck. Don't you want more then just that buck? Ok enough of my rant lol.

Honesty is huge! In a person's life they have only one thing, their word. Honesty and integrity are the foundational blocks of the aforementioned. Wonderful blog Mercedes and thank you for sharing it with all of us!

Rant on! I agree! That's probably why it takes me three times as long to write a post: I keep re-reading it to make sure I'm being completely honest.
If you asked my kids, they'd be able to tell you how I feel about honesty. Tell me the truth about what you've done wrong and you get punished. Lie and I find out, you get double. They learned that quickly.
My mom has always says tell me the truth and I might get mad but I will get over it. Lie to me and the outcome will be way worse! I plan on teaching my kids the same thing!
I think some people have different perceptions on what is right and what is not really bad as long as nobody gets hurt or killed, people like this will rob you without giving it a second thought, a lot of these parasites lurk on the internet and some offline too.
I know that if i am not honest with the other person it is the same like lying to myself.

This is so true and as a marketer you have to be able to gain trust from potential customers. from one business person to the next, you have only learned what it means to be a true and honest marketer.
