Gotta Love Your Baking Soda!
The Baking Soda, the fancy name is a.k.a sodium bicarbonate which considers to have high pH concentration and very convenient to use in many ways. Also it is generally cheap at average so you don't have to travel far getting these salts.
For eating, you can scoop with 1 teaspoon with a bit of raw honey or maple syrup added to water and it will slow down the acid reflux symptom. Or if you don't have any issue with your stomach acid, then you just add some of it with water (about 1-2 tsp per 8 oz) for raising the bar of your pH.
I saw on YouTube not ages ago some Italian doctor talked about his cancer cure treatment by directly injecting baking soda on cancer patients' body. I forgot the doc's name but since I already know cancer cells can't grow further and gets inhibited on high alkaline environment, I believe that treatment's gonna do the real thing for the patients over periods of time. Ah anyways.
For your no poo-poo on your hair, you drop some several scoops of baking soda to wash your hair scalp and rinse with drops of apple cider vinegar (Bragg's).
For your teeth clean, you can paste a bit of it on your toothbrush and gently sweep around your gum and between teeth. Or after brushing with regular toothpaste, you can just make a mixture of warm water and baking soda to gargle it for a minute. No alcohol burning on your taste bud!
For your house cleaning use, mix baking soda with water and essential oils to clean heavy dusts and smells. An eco-friendly cleaner. No harmful ingredients mixed on!
Lastly for odor on your closet or fridge, you just slightly leave the lid open and leave it for months.

Hey there, nice bit on a common product. My Dad used to give me baking soda for my sour stomach if I could get it out of my system. And that is just what baking soda mixed with water did, I would vomit immediately upon drinking this simple concoction.
I also use it for my kitty litter, the odor control products can be a bit expensive, and as you said, its relatively cheap.
