I just signed up for twitter, so I have no idea how to start using it for WA.
I'm not sure twitter will let you do that. You could share a page from your site and then whatever the featured image is will show up (or should show up). but don't quote me on that
Hi Robin,
Not sure what you mean by "images that contain the links". Usually, I put a URL into my tweets, then add a short text, then - separately - an image (for some reason, Twitter never automatically adds images from links for me).
If you wish to add shorter links, use http://bitly.com - just copy and paste a URL of your choice there, and it will be instantly shortened into a few letters.
Also, as Lilianna mentioned, adding hashtags at the end of your tweets is a good idea. Just type a # symbol and then an appropriate word. It should look something like this: #Obama. It should then transform itself into a hashtag (which is basically a clickable link) - just make sure there are no spaces between letters and symbols. If it does not change into a link, then there's no such hashtag and you should think of something else.
Hope that helps.
I just copy and paste the link in adding something interesting before and then hashtags after.

I just set up my web site, and went to site manager. When I click on the log in now button, a new screen comes up says log in but the screen remains blank.
You could try to add behind your website url /wp-admin
and use the login codes on the site manager
