Well, one is probably as good as 10. Also the title of my question might not be clear enough. I can try posting another question or I'll just go for it and see what happens - not that I will spend a lot of time on it and I can always delete it if something goes wrong.
Besides, I checked for this kind of post pretty thoroughly and couldn't find anything bad. Nothing good either, but that may very well mean that nobody's created such a post before.
Anyway, I'll risk it :)

Ahh, I still haven't done that post - got my hands full for the whole week. I also need to install a social buttons plugin on my new site, but that's a matter of a few minutes. Hopefully I'll do the post tomorrow :)

I just want to place ads like native amazon ads and affiliate banners not inside the body of my reviews, but in a sidebar widget area. Will it drastically impact the loading sp
It would not slow down your site, but it will take away the attention of your reader, if anything I would place those ads at the bottom of your page, or a widget in your footer menu,,

Actually, I'm putting ads related to the item I review - nothing else. So if I review a case for a handheld device, I put the banner showing exactly the case I'm reviewing. I'm doing this because I really don't like to put Amazon (or other) banners in the actual content. Maybe I'm wrong to do so, but I want to try it out and see how it'll work (or not).
Okay from my understand of native ads are the ones which are not relevant to what your writing about, you can use the image of Amazon to review it,
Amazon's native ads are relative, I just search the links by the name of a product and then choose a native ad instead of just getting a code. Take a look at my page:

I'm not talking about images you get from banners when you insert an HTML code into your Website, but about those you can see on the actual site of a merchant you're affiliated
Oh thank you for the question and JV for the answer. I am promoting products from three suppliers and had decided (hesitantly) to use their product images on my site and generated affiliate links to put on those products.
This gives me some comfort.

Not sure that I understand correctly. You are affiliate with Amazon and images of the product are there. But they are not good enough. So you would like to use them from the actual manufacturer? If so, I do this sometimes but rarely. In one tutorial Jay says this is ok because you promote their product from Amazon so they would not mind. This is probably so.

No, I'm not an affiliate of Amazon right now - just used them as an example. I'm an affiliate of Geekbuying, they're much like Amazon, only not THAT big.
Anyway, here's what I mean: as their affiliate, from my "control panel" on their site, I have access to content with affiliate links. Unfortunately, they do not provide large, good quality images of products, and all the images are usually made with products seen from only one side. I think that's also the case with Amazon - at least I wasn't able to find better images when I was their affiliate.
Now then, what I'd like to use are the images from the product pages I can view as a BUYER - those, which usually show an item from all the different angles and which you can sometimes zoom in. All the images are actually watermarked with Geekbuying stamps, so I think that's probably OK to use them, as I'm already their affiliate anyway.
I just want to be sure I'm not wrong about that.
