When setting up the gravatar, I lost the images on the published posts. How can I recover lost pictures?
Check your media library if in WordPress, as you say they're published.
Also your email with Gravatar and WordPress have to be the same, so they auto-populate.

Are you referring to the gravatar image next to your image on your published posts?
Perhaps you need to update the posts that you had to be published by the new Gravatar user that you've created within your website?

I deleted it because of one mistake and now I can't get it back to fill it out and forward it to my WordPress.
It depends where it is.
In site content, you may edit and publish.
In your Wordpress, you can head to your pages, hover and click edit.
There's also a privacy policy template:
