You can share your affiliate link anywhere you like, whether that is on social media, on your website, with friends and family, etc.
As you move through the core training you are going to learn how to properly build a business in any niche, and that can be through the promotion of WA.
I don't really recommend traffic exchanges, they are not a viable way to get high converting traffic, quite the opposite.
You can share your affiliate links, but I recommend that you go through the core training here (within your Business Hub after you build it) if you are looking to build an actual business and income.

I am a member of SFI and it would be useful for me to sign up with my upline.
There is no downline here each person who signs up is an individual. So when you signed up here your downline doesn't come with you.
This is a single-tier, not multi-tier, as in MLM this is affiliate marketing totally different.
If you were part of Keith's downline then it would be up to him to provide you with his WA link and not WA website itself that is why you are under Kyle and Carson.
I am sure most other SFI members will be the same.

You can get your referral link there, and that is the same place that any of your referrals will go if they want an affiliate link too.

Wealthy Affiliate doesn't have uplines/downlines or any direct connection to SFI. I've seen several SFI members here asking questions lately with a little confusion thinking WA and SFI are officially partnered, which they're not.
That being said, WA is a solid affiliate marketing training platform that you can use as a tool regardless of what other platform you've joined from, and many SFI members are joining apparently 👍🏼. To connect with any SFI members who have joined WA you'd have to go through SFI.
