I setup my Amazon affiliate account and added some Amazon banners on my website and there have been orders from those banners. But there is no commission coming in. I thought i
You should check the link code for the banner and make sure your personal affiliate link is embedded. Also, any links to pages must have your Amazon affiliate link added to it.
If some of the sales were from family or any way connected to your server Amazon will not pay commission.
A policy that stinks in my opinion.

That sounds really strange. Can you do a screenshot of your Amazon report Screenshots on the Fly Mine looks like the attached image.
It shows 5 items ordered but 0 shipped. These items may be sitting in someone's shopping cart but they haven't been paid for yet.
The good thing is that next time they go to Amazon they'll be reminded about their shopping cart and they may decide then to complete the purchase.
