Habits
Habits can be positive or negitive. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines habit as, "an acquired mode of behavior that has become nearly or completely involuntary." Many of them are considered good or bad. Generally the good ones help us become sucessful and the bad ones lead to failure. One of my worst habit is procratination, I have often joked about it by saying, "Why should I do something today that I can put off until tommorrow?" When I do that, it seems that I am always late in getting important things done in a timely manner.
I know how important it is for me to work on and finish the On line Entrepreneur Certification Training completed but, here I am doing another Blog Post. As I am writing this, I realize that it is a good thing to do. However, it would be much better for me to be working on the training lessons.
Somewhere I read that the formation of a habit takes doing something repeatedly over one hundred times. I believe that we are all creatures of habit. There are certain habits that can lock in much sooner. I really desire to become a 'Top Gun' in the WA Community. Therefore, I will have to give up some of the social aspects that I feel so comfortable with.
Tommorrow it will be onward and upward with the training.

Writers have a habit of writing. Musicians have a habit of practicing their instrument. Successful people make it a habit to do the most important thing in their lives at the same time every day.
It is important to distinguish between what is important to you and what is urgent matters forced on you by others. Important things can change everyday depending on what segment of your life is most important at the moment. But research suggest that it is best to concentrate on the one most important thing for two or three months.
When planning, I try to define the one most important thing in my life I want to accomplish that month. This month I am editing my Jaaxy and WA reviews and promoting them through the 20 step SEO process given us by Jay. I work on the most important thing for the first two hours after I wake up. Then I exercise and take care of the rest of the Chaos that forms my life.
Habits take the decision make out of your life. Just make sure your habits improve your life and bring you closer to your dreams. Quarterly, I look at my annual goals. Are my habits serving me well or do I have to tweek them a bit to stay on track to my goals.

Hey Bob,
Can I offer a suggestion. Schedule working on your training on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so you will have Tuesday and Thursday.
Or schedule training in the morning and blog time in the afternoon.
You have to find a schedule that will work for you but it sounds like "social time" is important to you. Social time is answering emails, blogging, helping out in live chat, and thing like that. Those are important and aren't time wasted.
You need to do the training but you also need this social time in WA to reach your goal!!!

Good for you, I find the habit of reading all these posts gets in the way of my training. That is my excuse, just seem to be bogged down at the minute, but as you say, onward and upward.
Good luck with breaking the habit of finding something else to do instead of your lessons. Wishing you success.
You can do it....schooling can get tedious and socializing is fun but u can do it...I’m a lot like like you at times but be gentle on yourself. Your a winner and you will get there.

I know that I'm not the only dealing with decisions about what to do first. I pray that if you have the same problem that we will both be able to keep on keeping on.

Hi Robert, it's very easy to get sidetracked with social WA, I do it all the time. I'm with you Robert, onward and upward with training tomorrow.
