Wisdom of Socrates
I don´t like to call people stupid or average, but Socartes had a valid point in this quote:
"Smart people learn from everything and everyone, average people from their experiences, stupid people already have all the answers." -
Socrates
What is the takeaway of this quote, we should use our creativity to the max. Shut off all other "noisemakers" like tv, radio, mobile phone the "naysayers", and thereby increase our own self-esteem, integrity and authenticity.

Hahahaha- those ancients sure had so much wisdom, they didnt mince words. Nowadays woe betide you if you use the word stupid in your language- even in a classroom lecture 🙀
Shutting off all those things of the modern world - will most surely be the hardest to do though 🤣
Good quote. I am not a smart person but I am practical so I figure that I can learn something from almost everyone.
I think you are underselling yourself, Jim, but I am 💯 with you and learning something from everyone.

Thank you, Roy. I appreciated the quote! A good reminder to see where we are on the spectrum of openness in any given moment.
You are welcome, Kristina. I am shutting everything out when I am working, but I sense the urge to flip open the phone or just quickly have a sneek peek at the new on the TV. :-)

I can understand that! It's so easy to get distracted. I need to do more of what you are speaking of so I can make more progress.

For me I would have to say, Beware of who you hang out with as you want to be at the best version of yourself. Even though be eager to learn from as many people and experiences as possible but to discern enough to know what is BS and what resonates with you.
Well said, Augustine and so true.
