I Made A Mess and I Am Glad It Is Chrismas In A Few Days Time
Well, what do you know! I was so happy to have completed another blog post this afternoon, making a total of 3 for the week, split between Wealthy Affiliate, Medium and my MMO website, and feeling quite exhilarated because of it. The last hour has been dedicated to checking and correcting the blog post for grammar and spelling errors, adding pictures and alt text to the pictures, mixing it a bit with some banners links and text links.
I clicked the publish button in Site Content and got an error message that the blog post couldn´t be published, please try again later..... And so I did with the same result. Hmmm, is it an error on the WA platform or is it my internet connection? Maybe something completely different?
I Have Made A Mess
Well, I checked my website if it was up and running, and it was. But I noticed immediately one major thing, for some reason I had written almost the same blog post already and it was published on my website.
It was the same topic but I had basically rephrased the whole article with some minor additions. What was the fix to this... start over again😳.
How int he world did I manage to mess this up? I have my spreadsheet with my blog posts neatly arranged to when and where my posts have been published.
Done is done, so here I go again. It is time to roll up my sleeves and start writing something new but this time, it will not be the same I have already done.
Still In The Planning Phase For 2021
This week has been focusing on producing content gearing up for my own challenge of 180 blog posts for 2021. A total of 4 were in the pipeline, where one of them ended in the trashcan, me plagiarizing myself, and one remaining which need some more work.
I have been able to set of 30 minutes each morning for reading without any disturbance, the topic related to online marketing, mindset and planning. Further, I have also managed to put in 30 minutes of blogging each morning. It seems that my daily routine is adjusting to my plan for 2021.
I have also attended 3 webinars about social media strategy, traffic sources for your blog and products and also funnel creation.
Final Words
The week that has passed has been quite productive, and some lessons learned. I am getting into the routine needed to reach my goas for the next year and has some more keywords added to my list for new blog posts.
I have also started building my Email-list, which I should have done a bit earlier.
Next week target; another 3 blog posts to be produced and increasing the subscribers to my Email list. My plan for 2021 need also to be completed by the end of the week.
A bit of advice before I sign off;
Don ´t write your blog post more than once!

Roy, the main thing is that you caught your mistake -- and quickly. Best efforts notwithstanding, it's sometimes going to happen anyway, since we're all only human. Your system sounds impressive. Thanks a bunch, Elizabeth :-).My problem is that I sometimes move a bit to fast and have to backtrack quite a bit. But the positive outcome of that method is that I then have a chance to repeat once again what the curriculum and lesson was 😄🤓🥸.

That's rather funny; I have done the same thing once before on another blog I have running; it took me a while to figure out what I did.
It is a sign of working too hard that you made a sincere mistake; that was my excuse. Sticking to it.

What a wake up call Roy, time to organise things and keep a list. I learnt that ages ago after "losing" things I had written and having to retype them because I had such a disorganised filing system. I couldn't even remember what I had called the files either.
We learn, don't we.

Dave, what you describe sounds familiar. I think I have a superpower in knowing where stuff is in my digital playroom. At work, everyone is coming to me to ask where they can find documents in our corporate network.
After I started with project management I have changed my callsign in the air force to "Digger" 😎 😄.
