You May Be Nearer Success Than You Think!
I felt inspired to write this blog post after reading a couple of Simone's posts and speaking to my Webmaster last night. You can see Simone's posts below. I've also written this blog post to encourage members who may be struggling and not seeing success yet. It will happen if you persevere!

The majority of us know that it takes time to build any business; it doesn't happen just overnight; it happens after challenges and hard work, and a desire to move forward. An online business takes even more work in the early days. It can be difficult, especially for new members who are continually writing content and not seeing any results. However, thankfully there are numerous success stories here at Wealthy Affiliate, where all of a sudden, the tide starts turning! The first sale comes, and then normally more follow, providing you continue to write quality blog posts and to do the necessary.
Although I have been making money online regularly since 2007, I have always had an offline business which I have run alongside my online business. One of the reasons is that I'm very much an outdoor person and have a great love of the countryside. My off-line business takes me to some fantastic places around the East Anglian countryside. However, to a certain extent, my offline business is holding me back from moving my online business forward quicker.
Simone mentioned in her blog posts about reflecting on what we have achieved in the previous month; this is something that I don't particularly do. I believe part of this is due to being so busy that I don't always have time to think properly, which isn't clever! It's important to have time for family and friends and have time to reflect on everything.
Simone's post had me thinking about what am I really achieving? It also happened that I spoke to my excellent Webmaster in the US last night, and we were looking at the facts and figures!
Thankfully, I am making money online regularly; we worked out that I would not have to do huge amounts more to make my online business into a full-time business. I say this because I believe that there are many members here who are on the brink of success but probably give up far too early! My recommendation is to keep going through the training and take action at every available opportunity. And, of course, to see what successful people are doing and to be consistent.
My long-term plan has always been to sell my offline business eventually and move to full-time online. I believe there are many more members here who can do the same if they just push forward a bit harder and spend less time on unnecessary practices!

Simone mentions that we have to be true to ourselves. Are you being true to yourself?
How much time are you spending writing content on Wealthy Affiliate when you could be populating your website?
Are you trying to gain rank on Wealthy Affiliate rather than write content for your own website?

It does indeed take time, effort, confidence, consistency and perseverance to build any type of successful business.
WA is a fantastic platform, but we must always put our businesses first, concentrate on writing content, then time permitting and as a way to unwind and relax a bit, delving into the community is always a fun and educational experience for all!
We never know what we can learn daily, without tapping into the wealth of knowledge that is available here from all members!

Very insightful and wise- spoken from experience Roy. That surely reminds me of a picture Roope used to include in most of his posts when the person digging the tunnel was so close to the diamonds but was turning back, giving up. And he didnt know it.

It is great post and reminder for newbie who just started and yes we all came here to do our dream business and as we learn and grow you just know time to move on!
Newbie like me and just started and not finished their training must stay and learn but continue to be involve in the community as much as i can but i tried to be balance for I realize that no matter what kind of business you take its the same thing, it takes time before you get your income like you do.
However, you have to be true to yourself as only yourself know what the real score, priorities is really a must but the advantage of taking the platform is also a right tools & privilege to go along with your business.

I really just wanted to encourage those who may be struggling or not seeing any results as yet. It takes a lot of work, in the beginning, to get any business going whether it's online or offline. I believe that far too many people give up far too early. There are also those who expect to make a fortune without doing any work, unfortunately, an online business does not work like that!
Thankfully we have everything we need at Wealthy Affiliate to start an online business.

I'm glad that you found my blog post helpful. One of the most important things that we need to do is to write content. To be fair it doesn't really matter how pretty the website looks, we just need to get those blog posts out!
As I mentioned, I have an offline business, there are times when I have much less time to write blog posts due to the workload. I can see the results in my analytics, big time, when I stop writing, the views go down!

Unfortunately, I have come across far too many talkers in my life, it's always good to see action takers! I can normally tell fairly quickly if someone is going to be successful and take action!
I remember when Roope joined Wealthy Affiliate as a young lad, I looked at him and thought that he will be successful! He is, which is fantastic!
One of the many things that I like about the Wealthy Affiliate platform is that we can encourage other members. It's also great that we can ask questions and answer questions. I remember what it was like when I first started out online in 2004, I was working blind and had no one to ask any questions!
