How do you feel about money?

Do you feel it is okay to blow 500 whatever your currency on a suit or food?

Or do you go about pinching the pennies?

How important is money to you?

Today is the last day of the month.

At the end of every month, I use this time to reflect on all my activities within that month.

Some of the things I've asked myself

  • What's my traffic now?
  • How much am I learning and taking away?
  • Am I taking action on my learning?

However

These last 2 questions are always mandatory for me

Have I done all that I can for this month regarding my training and learning?

Have I wasted this month’s membership’s fee?

I've now reflected and asked these souls searching questions. I do need to do much more than what I am currently doing.

I haven't wasted this month's membership's fee, but there are other things that I need to rise above to be at my expectant level.

It will be interesting to see my next month's reflection

Until next time,

Simone.

What about you?

How would you do if you answered all those questions?

Very thought provoking post and definitely some questions that I too ask myself. There are some months when I know for a fact that I have not made use of that membership fee. Some months, it's the opposite. Appreciate you taking the time to give voice to what so many of us are thinking!

Maria

A bitter sweet post for me
Hoping others will be honest with themselves as choose the right pathway

Simone my friend always meaningful blog!

Reality kick in if it comes money well spent, and yes i find person like us, who always work hard must know where our money goes and is it need or want.

Priorities spending money is also important to me, as my monthly payment its like a long hard decision, when i decide then i should stick with it as may go astray your hard work.

Good morning
joce

You've said it well, my friend

Thank you my special dear friend Simone!

Good morning Simone,

Thank you for your blog post, as always your posts are appreciated.

I actually read your latest blog post, first Simone, however, your post took me here, so I thought I would make a reply to this post, first!

It seems like you have a good principle on looking back on what you have achieved over the past month. I must admit, this is not something that I particularly do, but I think I will start doing it! This is an excellent way for being accountable to ourselves, which is highly important.

So first of all, money is important and it's something that we all need. I believe it's important to spend money wisely and to tithe at least 10%, long-term will reap the rewards as there is joy in giving.

I'm looking forward to going away in a few days as I feel that I need a break from everything! I believe that taking quality time out can increase our productivity, big time. At the moment, I feel slightly burnt out and definitely not being as productive as I could be.

I'm fortunate to be able to listen to the training from Wealthy Affiliate when I am running my offline business. Admittedly, I can't see the screen, however, I can gain useful information and often that can just be an encouragement and hearing someone else's story. I must admit the premium plus classes are excellent.

So in answer to your second question, no, I haven't wasted the membership fee, I believe that I'm getting value. I also know that there are times when I have more time to get value out of Wealthy Affiliate and sometimes less time. However, there are definitely things that I need to do!

I feel a blog post coming on Simone, due to your post!

Have a great Sunday.

Roy

Roy, our interactions are so special
It is super important for us to take short breaks away from our business.
Anything to refreshes the mind, body and spirit is always positive

I've been reflecting since I've left nursing school and it has become a positive part of me.
My decisions are always based around my reflections ;)

Hence the outcome of post you've read first 😃
I know from experience about the premium plus classes and I know you get excellent value.

I will look forward to your blog. Thank you for stopping by.
Have a blessed Sunday

Thank you for your reply, Simone; it's appreciated.

As much as I like work, it's important to take the necessary breaks. Many years ago, there were occasions when I worked seven days a week, not often though, thankfully! I know that this was counterproductive as I went into the new week feeling worn out, not clever!

It's great that you reflect on your decisions and achievements Simone, this is actually massive, in a very positive way!

One of the things that I like about the premium plus classes is that they are from real people in the real world! They have actually been there and done it and are still doing it!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Roy

Several years ago , I also worked double high paying jobs of 16 hours, 6 days weekly.

The money was fun, the job was fun but the outcome wasn't.

I experienced a massive burnout :)
Still remember it fondly.

I enjoy taking massive risks but that have to be calculated. I may not always win but that's always the aim

I hope that one day I will have the experience of being a Premium plus member again.

I loved those classes and found them quite beneficial.

Who knows, maybe I will be as successful as to teach a Premium class as well

We never know what the future holds!

Good morning Simone,

Thank you for your reply, as always it's appreciated.

That's almost unbelievable Simone, even though I do believe you, 6×16 hours a week is huge! I don't know how long you carried out those hours, but I'm guessing not for too long! I understand that the money was probably quite an attraction, but as you mentioned the outcome wasn't!

I'm sure it's not the type of thing that you forget quickly!

I remember a friend who worked on a farm at the time and he was regularly doing 110 hours per week, it was at harvest time; you can't keep that up for very long!

I'm sorry that you are not a premium plus member anymore Simone. The good news is that you don't need to be a premium plus member to be successful. I believe that if you work on your online business you will very quickly be back to premium plus membership.

Don't forget that the premium classes will not go away, so in a few months time you will have lots of classes to watch and you will be a premium plus member again!

I believe you have huge amounts to offer Simone, anything could happen. Every day is a new day that we can look at with the eyes of faith, I hope soon you will be utterly amazed at your achievements!

Have a great day.

Roy

Roy, it was my nursing job here in the UK - my full time one plus my part time.
It was for a short time indeed!

Alternatively, in Jamaica it is quite usual to work from 7am to 11 pm everyday without feeling fatigue.

It is what the body is already used to, with us being massively short staff.

The future holds all possibilities. We just need to be at the place to take them and enjoy ;)

I believe that people generally work very hard in the UK or at least the ones that are working! It's good to work hard, however, it's good to have the right balance.

As you know, my wife comes from Greece, the Greek people seem to be very family orientated. Their workload appears to me to be much less than it is here! I believe it's a very fine line, in getting the right balance! However, 16 hour shifts, six days a week is too much, I don't believe we were meant to work like that! At the same time, it can be difficult when workloads are seasonal or just very busy.

It's interesting regarding Jamaica, maybe the workday isn't quite so pressured as here in the UK? That's only a guess and a thought Simone, I don't actually know!

I genuinely believe Simone that the Internet has opened up so many possibilities, it really is absolutely amazing! Especially when we can really focus on a niche and look for opportunities within that niche.

We also have to remember that we can look through our own eyes through the eyes of faith! I know which way I like to look and I believe you do too!

Wishing you all the best,

Roy

Roy, in Jamaica, we are always short staffed and working hard has become a way of life, that is their normality.

I've worked in both position, Roy. I've worked in both the Accident and Emergency department, here and also Jamaica,

Although we are pressures here, from my experiences, we have more trauma cases such as gunshot wounds and vicious and violent cases such as cutting of body parts including the head.

Those are the day to day cases that we have in Jamaica and we always have theatre nurses and surgeons on standbys.

So , that is what I was referring to regarding more pressuring cases in Jamaica, and the increase in workload and less staff.

Thank you for your reply, Simone, it's appreciated.

Your comment has made me think Simone! I always think of doctors and nurses trying to make us better, which I'm sure the majority do! It's easy to forget the unpleasant things you have to deal such as injuries from violence et cetera, not nice at all!

It's great that you have so much experience, I hope that you can take advantage of your experience with your web business.

Have a great week.

Roy

I guess I can have a minor illness website, but there are no financial benefits from it
At least from my research
However, I am still blessed to have so many opportunities and interests :)

I hear you, Simone, I've also heard that it's harder to get medical websites ranked due to Google being unsure of the accuracy of medical information.

It's great that you have plenty of interests, that definitely broadens your horizons and opportunities.

Have a great day.

Roy

I found that as well from my research :)
That's why I'm sticking to other interests
Have a blessed day, Roy
