Why Your Words Are Better Than AI’s
I felt inspired to write this blog post after reading Lindi’s post entitled, “Writing To Live”. You can see Lindi’s post below.

I believe that most of us who work online are finding Artificial Intelligence really helpful, it’s like having an assistant when we use it in the correct way. Over the years, I have met some wonderful members on the platform and although I haven’t met them personally, it feels like I know them quite well, due to their style of writing and various blog posts that have been written over time.
Everyone of us is created uniquely and I believe everyone has something to bring to the table here at Wealthy Affiliate. It’s always good to hear a success story and how someone has made their first sale or, on the other end of the scale, how a member has moved to work full-time online.
Normally, when I wake up around 5 AM, I find Wealthy Affiliate a great way of waking up as I look through the top 10 posts while drinking coffee! However, over the last few months, I find myself reading less and less Wealthy Affiliate posts. The reason for this is that so many posts are now AI posts rather than a member's genuine experience.
Please don’t get me wrong, AI can be really helpful in brainstorming and giving us ideas, etc. However, we need to remember that we are all created with individual talents and if we know and niche we can write in far more depth than what AI will ever be able to. It’s always good to demonstrate our uniqueness and knowledge in the niche that we have chosen to promote.
Real Stories
Artificial intelligence will never be able to tell a genuine story or real-life experience that you have encountered. It can’t even really capture your personality, experience and emotion like a human writer can. When you write from the heart about your niche, your enthusiasm for your niche should shine out; that is something that AI can’t bring!
I’m Utterly Amazed
There are so many AI-generated posts on the Wealthy Affiliate platform now, with members commenting on how great the blog post is! I’m sorry, but these posts just lack creativity and don’t have any depth. If you are writing AI posts on your own personal website, I wouldn’t expect your posts to be ranked very highly.
Remember that individual style matters; we get to know that Wealthy Affiliate members through their writing style, AI won’t represent an individual’s style. I believe that we get to know people through their style of writing, it also shows their quirks and maybe even sarcasm sometimes!
It appears to me that many people using AI writers do not realise how blatantly obvious their AI content really is. You may think that you are rewriting AI content, but from what I see, most people are not. Be honest with yourself and think is this really genuine content from the heart.
To Conclude
The reason for writing this blog post is to encourage you to write and to be your very own self. As I mentioned, I believe that every member has something to bring to the table. Share your knowledge and be your unique self and remember that this is an Internet marketing training platform, not Facebook!
As soon as I realise a blog post is AI content, I immediately stop reading. I appreciate that it may be truthful, but it just lacks uniqueness and is so bland. What about you?
So be encouraged, be yourself and write genuine content.
It would be interesting to hear other member's thoughts on AI content and if you really enjoy reading AI content.
Thank you for reading.
Roy
100% human content!

I do use AI to create my blog posts for my website. With that being said though, I then ADD to it my thoughts and opinions and my experience with what the topic is.
For example, my latest website focuses on cryptocurrency. There are TONS of cryptocurrencies out there, and I don't fully understand the function of a lot of them, how or why they were created, and what their use cases for the future will likely entail. AI can find out nearly all of that so that I don't have to spend hours and hours of research trying to understand all of it. Don't get me wrong, I do need to know some of it so I can show my audience that I at least know what I'm talking about, but AI cuts that down dramatically.
If I don't put my personal touch such as my experiences with a specific cryptocurrency or what I believe it is going to do or a problem it's going to solve, then the AI I've used to create that blog post is useless. I ALWAYS add my own words, experiences and opinions with said topic. My most recent post that I'm working on focuses on a specific cryptocurrency and AI found out the history, what it is was created for, and the great potential it has in the future and then I've added my experiences with the cryptocurreny itself as it is one that I've invested in and then give my opinion on whether it is one other people should invest in or not.
Thank you for commenting, Brian, it's appreciated.
It sounds like you're making the most of AI, Brian, which is fantastic. Believe it or not, I use AI a lot for various tasks and ideas, etc.
There is such a huge difference when we use AI and make it our own, rather than using blatant AI. I was just looking at a blog post earlier on and the user looked like they were using blatant AI with no adjustments whatsoever. Even their about me page was written using AI; the truth is that AI cannot write an about page properly like we can!
I think many new people are coming to the platform who are using AI to create content quickly and not making it their own. Sadly, this will end in disappointment. There is such a difference in the way that you are using AI to how many others are using AI.
Have a great day.

I find it hard to write using AI. It doesn't seems to give me the feel that I want and the content generated isn't what I want most of the time. Maybe it is just that I don't know how to prompt properly.
But I use AI to refine the sentences I wrote. It is slower but it gives me the flow that I like.
Good morning Richard,
Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog posts, it's appreciated.
I do understand where you're coming from, Richard, I feel exactly the same. I also believe that if we know our niche, then we should have enough knowledge to write on the subject.
I'm certainly not an expert on AI prompts, Richard, but the content that I see, which is created by AI, is absolutely appalling. However, the people using AI content seem to think it's acceptable.
There's lots of training on Wealthy Affiliate about making the content our own, but most of the content I see is blatantly AI. It won't end well.
AI is great to use as a helper and for brainstorming, it just needs to be used with care.
Have a great day.

Totally agree with you. And I also seem to have experienced AI replies on private messages when I needed help. It was contextually correct but when I felt it was most likely AI-crafted, I just couldn't help but wonder about the sincerity.
That's interesting, Richard, I'm not surprised! I hear you; when there is no human behind a comment or message, it doesn't come over as very sincere.
Something that I meant to add to my blog post, which I overlooked. Recently, I had the opportunity to potentially comment on a blog post, which was on a member's website. I actually very rarely give comments, but I just thought I would have a look.
I looked at the website post and it was blatant AI content, then when I looked at the comments, most of the comments were created by AI. I'm afraid that this is a very poor way to do business. Personally, I don't think these posts and comments will wear well, it will end in disappointment.

Hi Roy! I’ve been saying the same for some time…including ending previous posts with the same 100% line lol! Like you, once I see it’s AI I stop reading. It’s just not interesting. Shortcuts are not necessarily the best cuts.
Hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
Susan :-)
Good morning Susan,
I hope that you are doing well.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment, thank you.
I'm glad that you can see through the AI lie, Susan! There are many lessons on the platform on how to use AI correctly, but as you say, many people are taking shortcuts which do not work.
This was always my fear that AI would be abused. Please don't get me wrong, it has its uses and I use AI a lot. But there are some things where we cannot take shortcuts; we have to make it our own. If we know a niche well, writing shouldn't really be a problem.
Have a great Sunday.
Roy
Hey, Roy, I agree -- AI is very helpful, but it cannot replace the real person. I do use it, mostly with a lot of rewriting, but I have yet to use it for community blog posts. Nor will I ever use it for that purpose. My community blog posts are my personal remarks to you, my friends, and cannot be accurately passed along using AI.
Good morning Fran,
I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog post and comment.
I hope that you are doing well, Fran.
AI is a brilliant tool when it's used properly, it can be so useful, it's really like having a personal assistant. However, the downside is that people are lazy and are not writing about their genuine experiences any more, which really takes the edge off of community blog posts. Or if someone is writing a Wealthy Affiliate review, it's not a genuine review, it's an AI review. 95% of the Wealthy Affiliate reviews that I have seen are all basically saying the same thing and are written by AI. That won't end well!
It's good to hear that you will not be using AI to write community blog posts, Fran. I agree; community blog posts definitely need to be personal.
Have a great Sunday.

great post Sir,
You made a clear point; it is a high-quality consideration; it's appreciated.
I am sorry ,
But maybe, whenever you may have a time, you could consider making posts about people like me? that really need AI.
Like I wrote in my bio, English is not my first language, and I am not as intelligent as many people believe. It will make me need MORE time to understand the lessons. and it is even harder for this kind when at the same time struggling with Bipolar Disorder
