TikTok COMEBACK: 641,000 views in 5 days
Last week my old TikTok account got banned without any good reason.
It had 52,500 followers and engagement was really high.
However, it got banned by TikTok.
I posted about it here a few days ago and asked if people would like to here how it goes...
Here's a quick update.
Still NO Response from TikTok
I have sent a few messages to TikTok but they haven't responded anything.
I've seen on YouTube that many people got their account back "suddenly" within 3-6 days after the ban. TikTok never replied to any of them (other than the automated message), the accounts were just suddenly restored without any explanation.
My ban happened 5 days ago so I'm still hopeful that they might recover my account.
New Account: 641,000 views in 5 days
I decided to create a new account because I knew there were lots of people who enjoyed my videos.
I've published now 6 videos:
- Almost 4,000 followers
Therefore, it seems that even though I couldn't get my old account back, the new account is getting tons of traffic too.
However, I still hope that I'd get my old account back because I had cleaned it from trolls and spent a lot of time building it up.
MAX. 30-45 Min Per Day for TikTok
TikTok is a beast when it comes to generating traffic FAST.
I wish I could target the US audience on TikTok. The potential would be enormous. At some point, I'll need to figure out how to do it.
Now my plan is to spend MAX. 30-45 minutes per day on TikTok.
It means recording and publishing a video. And then replying comments as fast as possible until it says, "Take a break."
1 video per day is powerful because your followers start expecting your video every single day and it becomes a habit.
That's my advice to you also:
If you want to use TikTok, publish 1 video per day and spend max 30-45 minutes on that.
That should be more than enough.
At some point, I used to publish more than 1 video per day sometimes but I didn't see any significant long-term benefit of doing that.
Happy Easter!

PS. I wouldn't start again creating TikTok videos in Finnish if I'd need to start from scratch. The reason I still create them in Finnish is because everyone already knows me there and it's so easy to get tons of views now.
If/when I'll create a new TikTok account at some point, I'll do that in English.

Good morning Roope,
I'm glad that you're up and running again, although it's annoying that you haven't heard anything from Tik Tok. It's amazing how many views you are getting so quickly.
It does remind me how important it is to have our website as our main framework, you never know when a ban will come from social media networks!
Regarding reaching the US audience, could you put a US Sim card into your phone? My Samsung S-10 phone has a dual Sim, I only have a British Sim card within it, what would happen if I potentially used a US Sim card?
Wishing you all the best and hope you get your account back.

Happy Easter, Roope! With all that traffic within a short space of time, I agree that Tiktok is a beast when it comes to traffic generation.
Thank you for sharing your insane success story

HI, Roope. Glad to see you back in the seat o Tik Tok. I didn´t get banned, but I had a video about Canva getting banned due to controlled substances and illegal goods :-D.
I have seen the same as you, even if I am a newbie on the platform. ! video a day, with quality content in it, is enough. No difference for me with more than 1 video.
Just a quick comment on the US aduience. I am living in Norway, but most of my audience is US-based. Almost 80% of it. I use NordVPN set to the US, and I make sure to follow and comment on US content for the most part.
After about 2 weeks on Tik Tok, I started to see the shift to US audience.
