I Found a 16-Year-Old Wealthy Affiliate Review!

I was looking at Dailymotion recently.

I wanted to start uploading my videos there as I have started publishing on Rumble too.

Out of curiosity, I wanted to see if there are some Wealthy Affiliate reviews.

To my surprise, there were A LOT OF old WA reviews.

The oldest one that I saw was 16 years old!

He recommended Wealthy Affiliate and explained about the benefits.

This video was probably published in 2007. Pretty impressive!

I started thinking that Wealthy Affiliate probably had some training about Dailymotion in the past because there were so many WA reviews on the platform. Would be interesting to know if someone knows about that?

Is Dailymotion Still Worth It?

It might be worth it if you are able to publish your YouTube videos there and increase your reach with a minimal effort.

However, my experience wasn't that good.

I created an account and got banned within 2 days. I wasn't even able to publish anything. I don't know why that happened.

I thought that perhaps it was just an error so I created a new account. Again, banned within 2 days without being able to publish anything.

Email simply said, "We regret to inform you that your Dailymotion account has been deactivated due to a violation of our Terms of Use." No other explanation.

I asked what happened and they replied, "Our platform has detected abnormal trends in your account, thus resulting in its immediate disabling. Please remember that you must respectfully comply with our Terms of Use.

Encouraging invalid clicks, tempering with our metrics, using robots and/or other similar malpractices will automatically result in the termination of your account.

Since your channel has been disabled for infringing our Terms of Use, it can not be reinstated. This decision is the result of thorough investigation by our team, taking into consideration the interests of our advertisers, publishers, and users."

=> No explanation again. I sent them another email asking what parts of Terms Of Use did I violate and if I should create a new account to try again. I'm not very hopeful they'd respond anything helpful.

Therefore, my conclusion is that it's probably better to focus on making money through YouTube & Rumble than Dailymotion.

According to Google Trends and other metrics it seems that Dailymotion has been dying during the last few years. We seem to have a reason for that - They're banning people and not letting the platform grow.

Hello Roope

Thank you for this great blog post. Sorry to hear about your issues with dailymotion. It wasn't fair and I think they should give you more details and a good explanation of why you were banned.

I have a dailymotion account but I have only ever used it once to upload a short clip of a computer issue I was having to show the eBay seller the problem I was having because eBay doesn't let you send video clips.

I still have the video on dailymotion but I haven't used dailymotion since then because it's not as user friendly as YouTube and I wasn't interested in it. As for Vimeo I have watched a couple of videos on it a while back but I have never uploaded anything to it and I'm not sure if I ever will until I find out more about Vimeo and how it works.

I have a question for you now. How are things on Rumble going for you so far and what is your experience with it? I have read a bit about Rumble since you first posted about it and it sounds like a really interesting platform. I also like the sound of the monetization methods I read about that Rumble.

I'm considering joining Rumble at some point and uploading all of my YouTube videos there since I lost my YouTube channel. But I would like to know Rumble is like and if it is actually worth my time before I make a decision and spend any time using and uploading videos to Rumble.

Thank you again for this great blog post and thank you in advance for any help or advice you can give me about Rumble. I look forward to reading more of your blog posts. I hope you have a great day and a great week. All the best to your success.

Regards

Timothy

That is crazy, I remember that UX here within WA. We are going to be going through another big transition this year (and moving forward), so at some point in the not so far away future elements of the current interace here are going to seem antiquated.

And wow, that didn't last long on daily motion. I think that you are fine with your Youtube & Rumble activities Roope, you can only do so much, but if you could streamline some more video on IG/FB, that may offer you some value. I even seen some linkedin reach with video these days.

Great to hear from you Roope!

Thanks for your insights Kyle. It's impressive how long Wealthy Affiliate has been around. You have done awesome work.

Yes, re-purposing video content to IG/FB is something that I'll consider in the future.

Good morning Roope,

Thank you for your blog post, an interesting subject.

It's amazing how some of these large platforms can ban us and yet we don't know what we have done wrong! It sounds like you're better off sticking to the platforms you know.

Out of interest, and I think we may have had the conversation through private messaging. Are you uploading all your videos to rumble.com or just some of them? I think in a previous conversation, you were concerned that it may not be a good idea and that YouTube could penalise you.

I started to upload some YouTube videos to Rumble, but I have now stopped as I wasn't quite sure if it was a good idea.

It will be interesting to know your thoughts.

Have a great day.

Roy

I'm uploading videos to Rumble manually. The results have been promising so far!

I'm concerned if syncing channels will harm the YT channel because some people said they experienced that.

Roope - I have used Daily Motion in the past to watch a series called Kurulus Osman. After I had enough, we went our separate ways.

I have better things to do with my time. As a matter of fact, I am very interested in starting a YouTube channel in the proper step by step way.

Nowadays, the cost is too high for the holding my hands technique. I gather whatever I can from you on YouTube and move forward.

I have never watched or published videos on Vimeo.
From what I have read, I am sure they are good too.

Have a pleasant day!

Maxine :)
