My Introduction from Outback Australia
This is Aussie Rob from the great outback of Australia. Above is the track up to my cabin. I don't have access to the power grid and instead use a combination of solar power and a backup generator. A few years ago Australia commenced an ambitious plan to connect all residents to the internet via optic fiber. This became too expensive for rural and remote clients so the government purchased another satellite. A satellite dish located on the roof of my cabin now provides me with relatively high speed internet.
Now back to business. I came aboard as a premium member of WA about a week. This has allowed me to meet so many lovely and helpful people. My head is a buzz with information and excitement. I'm still only half-way through the initial getting started training, I got a bit zealous when writing up my About Me blog on my first website. Don't laugh. I had about 2,000 words written when I started typing another paragraph and found I had lost all my previous work. Hours & hours of work. I must have gone over the word limit for the editor. This has taught me to save my work on my home computer as well as in the editor.
Now that I have had a little grizzle I'm off to do some more training.
People like myself who find WA truly find a gold mine. We are all so blessed.
Kind regards
Aussie Rob

Some members did mentioned the same issue that the draft post had gone while still working on it. As you said, it's good to write on word editor on your computer and only use the site-content once it is about to be published.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Rob, I think we've all had experiences like that. However, it could have been the internet gods telling you that people won't read a 2000 word introduction. Perhaps 1/4 of that would do, with concise writing, you can tell enough of the story to keep people interested. BTW I found the photo and the first paragraph gave me an apt portrait of your simple life in the outback.
Glad to be following you.
Gday, Rob, and welcome! I've done the same thing a few times and have learned the hard way, also. Moving forward, you'll experience that the positive will begin to outweigh the negative. The training that you'll implement will lead you to a new world where the possibility of success will be your driving force! All the best to you!
Erin :)!
