Could someone please help. I don’t understand the domain name, which I bought. The next question I don’t understand?

But surely you chose the name yourself!

Oh dear is it worth just going back over the training to revise what is covered about Domain names??
Let us know where exactly are you stuck?

Yes

That's great, you can read notes how to go about choosing a domain name.

It is preferable to go for a dot com domain name.

Not sure what you don't understand about your domain name. It should be relevant to your niche.

Hi have you figured out your niche?

A niche subject is something you are passionate and genuinely interested in could be a hobby or an interest, and know so well you can write plenty original content about.

One niche, a website.
When deciding on a niche try narrow it down to a more specific niche, you can ask yourself the following question:

So I want to help people with ____________________ ?
Fill in the blank and you are going to get closer to a specific audience.

HOW TO CHOOSE A DOMAIN NAME

You can use Namemesh dot com - look in SEO & MIX columns

You can also use leandomainsearch dot com, you input a word and it gives you another

And godaddy valuation tool to find a memorable name.

However nowadays domains are not so affected by SEO vs writing quality rich content with good choice of keywords, latter of which would rank you in the search engines.

I would always go for a dot com domain name vs dot net or dot org as people's perceptions when they start typing they would typically assume it is a dot com.

I would not include dashes and check if the domain is copyrighted, trademarked and ' or registered to an established business.

You can use Jaaxy fo find something suitable and along the metrics would also search if the dot com domain is available

Look for searches (avg.) above 30 and competition (qsr. ) lower than 100, the lower the qsr the better.
