Who'd Have Thunk?
The biggest, unexpected benefit for me in joining WA, has been in learning the process of researching my niche, gathering information, assimilating it into my own personal knowledge base (in other words, actually learning about it), and then spitting it out and sharing my new found knowledge with others.
How To Start The Process
When I started this journey with WA, I learned right away that I should pick a niche that I am interested in learning more about, and/or that I am passionate about. At the time, I was just starting to deal with a personal family issue, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and needed to be placed in an assisted living memory care facility.
This became my obvious choice, and alzfordummies.com was born. My intention was to document all of my questions and concerns as someone who previously knew NOTHING about Alzheimer's, and answer them through my articles.
Grow As You Go
As I worked through the training, I wrote down all my relevant questions and concerns on the topic, matched them up with the right keywords, then proceeded to research and document my findings. What an excellent tool this has been to help my learn SO much about the disease, how to handle it, what to expect, what I can do for my mother-in-law, etc.
What's Next?
It's been a wonderful, eye-opening, enlightening experience and through it I've gained the confidence of knowing that I CAN still learn new things! LOL I can't wait to pick my next topic, it will be equally something that I want to learn more about, and am passionate about.
Thank you WA for showing me that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks, and I DO have the capacity to become an authority on any topic I wish!

You just put in a few paragraphs a detailed strategy on how to apply research. I especially liked it when you mentioned you document your questions and concerns as if you know NoTHIng about your subject or niche.

Bless you for wanting to learn about Alzheimer's. My mother died from this horrible disease. There is so much more information than there was 13 years ago. Bless you for wanting to share that information with others. God Bless and God Speed on your journey.
