Speeding Along Nicely. And Having Fun Too!
Hello All!
I am writing today to let you know that...well... I exist. Lol. Just kidding, but kind of true if that makes sense. I feel it is important for me to make my presence known and although I am very much a newbie here at WA, please know that I will gladly help you out if I can. We are all learning as we go. Some are total rookies, some are advanced and some are seasoned veterans. No matter far along you are on your journey, there is someone out there behind you and could use some advice, instruction, or just moral support. Well that is what I'm all about.
I am wrapping up Level 2 in the beginner training. There are three more levels to go. I am pretty excited to see what lies ahead. The learning process is fun and effective. The most important aspect here is the angle of their approach. What I mean by that is, the material is laid out in a way that is easy to learn and allows you to apply what you learn as you progress through the training. I feel it's a much more effective approach than trying to retain all the information learned and once completed try and remember everything. I don't know about you but for me, I lose interest quickly and wind up giving up on things. Not that I couldn't have had success, it just didn't happen fast enough for me to believe in it. With WA, my goal is to break that mentality and follow through with building a business and completing as much training as I could to further advance my career.
I have to confess something to you. My niche was chosen out of a misunderstanding when I first signed on here. I totally thought I was choosing a niche for products to sell on my own website π€¦ββοΈ. Ok I realized my mistake but unfortunately after I locked in my domain and created my keyword list. All the excitement I was feeling suddenly halted. "Now what?!" I asked myself irritably. So, I decided to just go with it. Follow through. Make lemonade. Make the best out of my mistake. Probably I should have just started over and chosen a niche that I am passionate about. But I didn't. So, without further ado, I present to you, my first official WA website: TheShineisReal.com.
TheShineisReal.com is website about LED lighting for your home. I present different ideas for people to spruce up their indoor and outdoor spaces. My initial intent was to sell LED lighting. It certainly would have been easier than writing multiple articles on what to do with LED lighting that's for sure. I did the best I could. I actually was surprised how much content was written just from my own knowledge. Of course I had to do some research for facts, products and things like that but overall most of it was from my head. I actually love lighting around my home and yard. It adds elegance and ambience. I realize this content will not generate enough traffic to make it a monetary success, but what it will generate is a feeling of accomplishment. The real successes come from your hard work, dedication and persistence. Always be confident in yourself. Keep a positive attitude. Block out the outside noise and focus on your work. This niche may result in a failure, but I still got a lot out of it. I learned the process! I created a website, I generated SOME traffic and I learned that I'm capable of writing and creating content even for something like LED Lighting.
What I will eventually do is create more websites with more lucrative niches. Another goal of mine is to try my hand in a drop-shipping business. I would love to build an online business with big success like Chewy.com, Wayfair, or Reverb. Heck! why not Amazon! Think big right? Anything is possible if you have the right attitude.
Well thanks for reading my first WA Blog. Although my story is still being written, I hope you got some inspiration from it. I have a long road ahead of me but I am super psyched for my journey.
Have a great, productive day folks!
