Just a HUGE thank you to WA and the community!
Man, am I glad to have found this place!
I signed up in March 2013 because I was getting absolutely nowhere with my Internet Marketing with another company I was "learning" from and I was getting really frustrated and it started to dawn on me that this selling online thingy majig just wasn't for me.. Luckily for me, on the old site I used to "learn" from, I met a guy called Jamie (this guy - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kazby123) , who was also struggling a bit on there and somehow stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate.
Jamie and I used to talk a fair bit on Skype discussing what methods we were trying to make money and so on and one day he told me he was leaving the old site and coming here, he told me all about WA and how they show you how to be successful in something YOU enjoy doing instead of selling something I had no knowledge in which was previously the case. Needless to say I was straight on to the 1st month discount promotion and it was the best thing I did!
After many, maaaaaaany hours of learning, trying, cocking up, trying again.. I've finally began to create a solid little earner which I honestly didn't think I'd achieve after being with the last educational company where I hadn't earned a penny!
Now, I'm not adding this to brag at all, because that's not my style. I've been putting this off for a while because I didn't want to sound like "that guy" who was just bragging but Jamie convinced me I should, to serve as both motivation for others and newcomers just to see that this place CAN and WILL get you earning money if you follow what they tell you.
Here's what my last few weeks have looked like:
Obviously to the WA veterans, this isn't going to seem like much at all, but from someone who was earning zero, zilch.. NADA - This is a lot to me, and not just moneywise - It's something that has proved to me that this can work and my next task in hand is to simply scale up what I've done already and produce bigger results!
So here it comes.. I just want to say THANK YOU! To Jamie, for introducing me. I'd still be at square one if it wasn't for him, and for helping me a lot over the past year! Also to Kyle and Carson for creating such an amazing place to learn, seriously I'm SO greatful! Finally, the community, countless times I've been scratching my head thinking.. How the HELL do I do this?! All it takes is 60 seconds, I'd drop my question in to the chat box and instantly someone would have my answer. That is absolutely priceless to me!

Hey Rob, I like the way you express the difference between where you were and where you are now. I also noted that you worked really hard and you had a tremendous desire to succeed; and finally you were kind enough to show us the proof. This is a powerful post...it's my third day here, I'm in the training class and kinda overwhelmed with all the information on this site. Your post sparked an idea in me...to get focused on task and learn how to do this.
Glad you liked it! I just remember seeing posts like this when I was starting out and it used to just make me want it more so that was more my intention because it can be tough starting (it was for me!) but you just have to keep learning and trying!
That's what I kept thinking! Then it finally happened :) Keep at it, the start is the toughest bit, trust me! Once you've made a bit of money, you just take what you've done and do it again, and again.
