I have been here and I`m still here to stay.Long live WA, I`m not going anywhere anytime soon.It`s a no brainer really WA is the best place to learn affiliate marketing and everything wordpress, blogging, plugins, and all that goes with creating a successful online business.
Yes, I`ve been distracted many times with shiny objects, but I soon find that even the high priced courses do not even scratch the surface not to mention the extras you`re supposed to purchase. The "must have secret tool" that never ends, by the time your eyes open, the money is gone and nothing good has come out of that must have sectet tool.
I just love WA

Me too Roamy, we are of a similar WA vintage and it's great to see people still around years later...to me it proves that WA really is the best place to be online, newbie or otherwise!

I love the place, during my time in online marketing, I`ve been distracted from time to time, even spent on some very high priced courses but then there is always the "buy this other one that you must have"
To me, WA is the best place really.

I am reverting away from profit-based campaigns because, even when very active in them, I have never done very well at all with this. I am now going on my 11th year here. It is far more my personality than anything else.
Yet, I'm still here. Though the ultimate objective to being here is to make money doing something that would benefit others, having access to the services that are available here for non-profit campaigns, I believe are well worth the expense.
When the Super Affiliate Challenge came out in 2018, I went into it diligently, and others were making a killing from it. I simply was not making a dent in it. Then I discovered very high bounce rates and average rates of time people staying on my website at about 3-4 seconds. This is when I stopped.
But I'm still here. Hosting and all the other benefits of being here outweigh moving on. When it comes to a business platform, Wealthy Affiliate just can't be beat. Even though the platform has changed its appearance and has changed with the dynamics of the Internet and those who use it, the underlying reasons for which it stands has not. At its core, this is the exact same Wealthy Affiliate it was when it was founded - and that is why it has been so wildly resilient and successful.

When the super affiliate challenge came,I joined but could not keep up so I dropped out without even knowing it myself that I had dropped out.
I have been here since (I think 29th Dec 2014) over time I have had my ups and downs, followed shiny objects, got distracted with shiny new domains and all.
But at the end of the day, I still know that WA is the best there is.
I will try and email you tonight if I can. You know, I still have my offline job( after 5 years at WA!!!!!!!)which means I`m not making enough to quit my day job.
Still, I love the platform and I`m here to stay, like you, I have that never give up spirit.
I remember in 2008 I tried to find complaints about Wealthy Affiliate and way back then (WA was barely 3 years old at the time and no longer considered just a keyword list site) and I could not find a single one! I wish we still had access to the old Forum. You might remember the Forum, which was a stand-alone program. There was a wealth of early history on there and even back then, daily numbers of success stories. If I had the available funds back then I would have joined. I was greatly impressed. The only other noteworthy place to go back then was SiteBuildIt. I had my eye on both but decided that WA out-shined it.
I had my best days back then but WA continues to be an investment for me to date. It is the only place I have ever made online income and then had it last for so long.
Same here Daniel, I have invested in countless programs before and during WA but never found anything that even comes close to WA.
I first came upon WA in 2010 through Eddy, I don`t even remember how, I believed him enough to want to join WA, but then I thought, (my suspicious mind)" if the program is so good, why would they be so cheap"? so I did not join just because WA was affordable(it still is).
But know what happened? that same night I lost almost $500 to some online scammers, promising get rich quick, I chose them over Eddy because Eddy said you had to work to succeed and the scammers promised quick money with all done for you. I could kick myself today thinking of it.
The get rich quick scams kind of knew I was an easy catch until I found my way to WA again and joined in DEC 2014, it was one scam after the next and they always managed to get money from me.
Funnily, for whatever reason, one of the scammers emailed me recently to watch a webinar. Just like they had tricked me before, the webinar was about "we build you a site for.........4 figures, we apply Adsense for you and you`ll make 5 figures a month guaranteed, then we divide the income for a while then later the site and income is all yours and I thought what a.... not going to write the word here else I get in trouble.
