Understand the difference then watch your bottom line grow…. After all isn’t this the real reason why we are all in the Wealthy Affiliate program?

So what is “bottom line grow”….Is this a feature or benefit of being a member of WA? You probably know the answer, but send a comment over to me if you have a question.

As a business owner, if you’re like me, I have wrestled with the “features versus benefits” question a number of times over the years.… And have found that not many businesses get it right.

…..Alas, that’s one of the main reasons that online marketers complain about the lack of monetary success….Because the content of most small business marketing documents are missing a convincing CTA!

Stop This Nonsense!

Most small online business owners start their business based on two factors:

1. what they’re good at and like to do….their niche
2. what they assume their potential customers will by

Often these two factors are correct, but the small business marketers also assume incorrectly that their prospects will fully understand why they should buy the product or service just because you, the marketer, tell them about it……. More likely than not, the business owner is only communicating the features of their product or service while neglecting to hit home the benefits!

So Here’s The Deal………

The perfect way to understand the true benefit of your product or service… or to answer the “What’s In It For Me?”question is to focus instead on the results. Your prospect’s perception of each of your feature’s results is what will attract them to your particular product or service.

When your content focuses on selling features of your product or service, you’re asking your customer to do all the heavy lifting to try and figure out why they want this feature you’re selling.

…..SO THEREFORE, you must yourself know the benefits (results) that your prospects will receive… And tell them explicitly what they are by leading with your benefits and following with your features.
