If you don't master the attitude and skills necessary to write successful content, you won't be able to produce it.

Don't let this happen to you!

What is the proper attitude? In a single word you must be empathetic .

Empathy is defined as " the feeling that you understand and share another person's experiences and emotions : the ability to share someone else's feelings". an A this is exactly what you need to write successful content.

You absolutely must project yourself into the character and experiences of each prospect you wish to help with your product and service. Each one!

This empathy cannot be disjointed ; cannot ebb and flow. It must be continual and never ending.You must have it turned on every day with each individual you deal with. It is absolutely a prerequisite for marketing success. It is invigorating. It will exhaust you .

In today's society empathy is in short supply because of the embodiment of the "me first" attitude and this is why a lot of marketing content is self-defeating .

So.......................................

You be different!

Care to understand what your prospects are trying to accomplish.
Care to show them how you can help. Care to tell them how your product or service can achieve their objectives.
Care to let them know what will happen to them if they don’t take action now to solve the problem.
Care to understand their anxieties and worries both about what you are selling,and about you as a person.
Care to absolutely make sure that you address their anxieties and worries, And not treat them as insignificant.

In summary, empathize. Put yourself in your clients shoes. Write your marketing content from your prospects, perspective, not from yours. Make your prospect feel that he is getting full dollars worth of what he came looking for and not shortchanged.

If you truly want to succeed in content marketing write your copy in such a way that causes your prospects to be excited about what you can do for them.

Each one of your prospects must feel your empathy and you are there for him and him alone. Not as part of a group, sector, niche or otherwise. But for him individually.

You must exhibit client - centered empathy.

Skills that you need to produce content that converts

Good Research Skills - You must know:

• anybody offering similar products and services
• how are they doing it
• are they effectively doing so
• what anxieties are they addressing and how
• what are the chief selling points they’re using

Good Analytic Skills

Compare your marketing content to that of your competitors and be able to analyze your effectiveness over theirs. Is your content more client - centered then there’s or does yours need tweaking.

“You” is probably the most important marketing word. So, use “you” as your analysis tool to determine what others have produced.

In summary, all you need to ascertain is that what you are producing or reviewing (competitors content) is indeed about your prospect and not about you.

Capability Of Going For The Jugular

Most marketing documents beat around the bush - A fatal problem. While the best go for the jugular and attack the prospects anxiety or ultimate aspiration-immediately!

Unless can get your prospect to take action NOW - What you’ve written, no matter how graceful and fluent it may be - Your effort will be futile.

AND THAT is why you must go for the jugular to get your prospect to take action NOW.

Capability To Instill Trust

You must also develop the skill of inspiring trust from your prospects, because going for the jugular alone, will not solve the problem of getting them to take action now.

To start the process of getting your prospect to trust and feel comfortable with you, tell that prospect that by using your product or services they’ll get the benefits, the advantages and the solutions they cam looking for.

The Empathetic Skill is both an attitude that informs all that you do, and a skill that enables you to do it more successfully.

To produce content that converts means having these two empathetic skills:

• determining what your prospect wants to achieve and expressing it in a way that motivates them to take action Now to get it
• in finding out what’s bothering your prospect now - Letting them know clearly and distinctly that what your product or service you are offering. The problem and make their lives better off.

It’s never wrong to put a prospect first and make him feel that he is the single individual who is the focus of your total deep concern for his welfare.

When he feels this concern - your empathy for him - He will be deeply grateful and reward you with gratitude, new business relationships and referrals going forward.
