You make an interesting point that I hadn't thought about a lot before reading your blog post here.
To become an influencer, as is your stated goal, there is a certain amount of "quid pro quo" that precedes the accumulation of trust between parties.
It makes sense. You're the first person I've followed back since joining WA and it's because you're the first person that asked me to follow them back.
I am now genuinely curious to see how things work out for you.
Personally, I hope they work out well.

Well, thanks! I've learned a lot in a few weeks. I joined over a year ago but didn't do anything with it until about a month ago. But, I've been taking it slow, and I've been applying it to Twitter and Linkedin. I got to 6k followers on Twitter just by posting semi-interesting content and 3k on Linkedin by making comments and saying thank you for the follow. I hoping to learn how to turn them into customers. You'll need the followers here to follow and comment on your site. The comments will help you reach the top of the search engines. My first site is called RateATreatmentCenter.com. I'm not so tech savvy and I work full-time, but I'm hoping to be able to do this service full-time sometime in the near future. Thanks for your comment. You're going to do well also. "Following back", its an interesting thought. I agree with you in that, if someone follows me, I try to be consistent with following back the person that followed me first. Again, thanks for the follow and you will note that I did follow you back as you speak of it. Much success to you!
