From the Heart
I've noticed that it is a lot easier to write about something that you love and understand. When you love and understand something, it's in your heart and should you ever decide to write or talk about it, the words will flow out effortlessly, and this has not only to do with your niche, but with everything that you've ever dealt with, been through, or experienced. I wrote a post today about Memorial Day called "Remember to Remember" and as I wrote, I got in touch with my inner self and recalled all the things that happened in the past Memorial days and just started writing, remembering and writing some more, and it wasn't long before I had well over 1000 words.
Me, I get kind of emotional when I make that connection and start writing from the heart. It seems that new and interesting things keep coming to mind as I write. I hope you know what I mean when I say this because I don't know how to make it any plainer. Love is tied to the heart, so therefore, so is everything that you love to do and desire to be. Then I thought about my niche, "Fashion is younique 24/7", and it was then that I realized that I CAN make success happen for me because I do love it so much. Fashion is where my heart is! I desire to be successful in all that I do for my business.
Now I know that I have to keep studying to stay on top of things related to it, and that's what I fall short of. But now that I know why, how, and when to do this, that, and the other, it will be no problem at all to "Make it Work". (That's Tim Gunn from Project Runway)!
So if you are a blogger, (and perhaps you already know this), it pays to search your heart for information that's probably already there about your niche or whatever you're involved with, to effortlessly write new, exciting, and engaging articles that your readers can't wait to read.
So Kyle was right, you just talk like you're holding a conversation with someone instead of using big professional words and phrases that will eventually lose the reader's attention. When you write from the heart and feel what you're saying, they will too. Thanks for reading! :)

Hey Retha, well said...This is why niches should be selected based on something you really enjoy. It makes writing a lot easier and the words come out easily. But for me, lol no matter what it is, lol writing is just irk, LOL, but because I love my site and enjoy what I do, I manage through. Great Blog!
