Hello, hello WA fam!! I am sorry, but I have been MIA for a hot second. I have been busy with my blog, and I wrote a short post about stress.
Yes, Stress is common in our lives, but this year has been one heck of a stressful one for me. Not only has it been one year since my dog passed.
But I will be taking my last exam to become a CNA, so I am studying daily to ensure I know what I'll be doing and how to do it so I don't have to retake the whole class.
I was also stressed most of the month of April due to a close friend whose father-in-law passed away.
Even though I couldn't be there for her in person (she lives in NC, and I am here in FL), I was always texting her after I was done with my site work and talking to her, trying my best to give her the comfort she needed.
She was very thankful for my being there for her. She was there for me during my dark times, so I did the same for her. π«Άπ»

So, back to stress. It's normal to stress sometimes, but it's not healthy to dwell on the stress in your life.
I love to put on soft, almost zen-like background music, write on my tea blog, and take my mind off the stressful thing that bothers me.
I don't know about you, but writing either by hand or on my laptop helps me greatly.

Growing up, I always loved my notepad, which I kept near my bed or took with me on car rides so I could write down my thoughts on the sheets of paper.
Do I love writing on my laptop? You bet! Click-clack sounds fly through the air here in my home. My mom and I work on our websites during the week.
I would love to thank my mom for my love of writing. She is the one who had many notepads, and instead of tossing them out, I'd say. "can I have it?"
And with her sweetest smile, she would give me the notepad, and I would have my pen in hand and start writing.
One of my go-to remedies for feeling upset is to write out my thoughts and burdens on paper, look at them, and ask myself what I can do to feel blessed and not stressed.
So I want to ask you something now: what do you do when you feel stressed? Let me know below. Have a great week ahead.
