Surprised, to say the least!
Hello WA family, I just notice, 3 minutes ago, that I have earned the 'Ambassador' badge. there are several words that come to mind, but grateful is on top of the list.
I'm an ambassador, WooHoo!
On a different note, I planned to create a post today for another topic; however, the badge threw me for a loop.
I posted my first training video moment ago which how I learned about the new badge.
After 72 hours, I finally end up with a presentable training module, specially one that works on this platform.
Originally, I was ecstatic about getting Adobe Captivate for my videos and training modules. The excitement had me tumbling head over foot.
I thought I had everything mapped out and was raring to go. For three days, I hunt and pecked on my trusty keyboard.
Putting together a smashing training module. Nonetheless, once it was complete, I could not use it on the platform.
Not disappointed, well maybe a little, I posted my question and concerns about my ability to use it.
Quickly, my WA family came to the rescue. Offering suggestion, making recommendations, and letting my vent.
Brazenly, I jumped back into the Lab to find a solution that would work. Lo and behold, I did just that.
The Problem
The problem with my original training was that I created it in Captivate for the ability to generate quizzes at the end of each training.
Boy was that bubble busted and rather quickly!
It was a simple ask, but to no avail, I had to change my way of doing business. Consequently, I will have to leave the tests and quizzes for my blogs.
I can store these training on my Google Drive. I provide links to my audience after they went through any of the training.
Unfortunately, I could not use WA as a test bed. Sob, sob.
The WA Solution
Create tests at the end of my training is the easy part of the creation process. With that said, my ability to create engaging modules is a question.
Therefore, me and all my anal-ness will be improving my skills by subjecting the WA family to my training in video format.
In order for me to become proficient, I am hope that a little patience will be given to my endeavors.
This is rapidly become a thrill to me. All the learning and sampling that I am encountering is a beautiful rush.
My spidey senses are tingling and hair on my arms is standing up. That is my was of saying that I am super-hyped about my opportunities of growth.
The positive affirmation of the day:
"I am worthy of what I desire." (@gabbybernstein)
I pray that we all feel this way. We are often our own worst critics; however, we are also our own best advocates too.
No one will save us, if we do not save ourselves. It is our responsibility to light the path and follow our journey.
Two positive accomplishment in one day. I am on a roll.
May peace, love, and happiness for you all!
