Unconditional Love
Unconditional love, and what does it really mean!
According to the book Real Love, unconditional love is, in essence, true love. Wikipedia describes it best! Unconditional love is known as affection without any limitations or love without conditions, but most will agree that it is that type of love which has no bounds and is unchanging. An example of this is a parents love for their child.
I experienced just that kind of love today! About 12 hours of my day today was spent at the hospital anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new grandson. As I stood next to my daughter's bedside while she was giving birth to this amazing little human being, I couldn't help but remember back to the day she was born and the unconditional love I felt the minute the nurse laid her in my arms.
As I glanced over at my daughter, as they laid her son in her arms, I knew at that moment she was feeling the same unconditional love for her son that I felt for her, as my eyes began to fill with tears I knew she was experiencing for the first time what it really meant to be a mother.
One of my greatest gift's in life was not only being a mother, but being grandmother to eight (8)wonderful and adorable grandchildren.
Kayden James, he arrived on Thursday, September 1st 2016 at 4:37pm. He weighed 8lbs 2ozs and he measured 21 1/4" long.

Congratulations on the arrival of the newborn grandson. I don't have grandchildren yet. Yes, I recalled the special moment on the arrival of my youngest daughter who is now 19. When the nurse walked out of the delivery room and showed her to me, she peeped at me by opening only one eye. Can you imagine that what a naughty little rascal she was.
