Introduction

Good Morning Everybody at the Great WA Family, trust that you are all keeping both safe and well.

I am aware that it is Sunday Morning and that I usually do my weekly blog a little later in the day, but thought that I would get it started in between preparing lunch, also cannot watch the Cricket on live stream as there is no play before lunch.

Talking of lunch must open my can of Beer to sup, whislt I am writing this. that is better, just have the one can a week always on a Sunday when I am not out at Cricket.

Must admit that I am also in a bit of a 'Fed Up' mood today, do not know why, cannot even enthuse over Derby County winning promotion, that included yesterday when everyone was on the pitch including my three 'boys' I just wanted to go home, (sad old so and so!!).

Just checked the Lunch as well, only Pulled Pork with Barbecue Sauce, roast potatos and steamed carrots, with Strawberry Chesseckae to follow, may also get the Cheese Board out whilst I finishing a glass of Malbec!

The Last Few Days

Done a few bits this week, but the one that sticks out in my mind is the reason for the title, I was having a walk around the garden and quite frankly I was ashamed at the state that it is in, OK nobody sees it but me, but I always loved my garden. OK I cannot help health causing some of the problems, but surey I could do much better. As I walked aroung I saw my three lilacs, two tress one dwarf all in bloom, all different colours, and all hidden from the house by overgrown shrubs.

Too put it mildly I was seething, so the reason for the title is, when I am not cricket and it is not raining, I will spend at least an hour a day on the garden, assuming that my arthritus will let me.

If this means that I work on the business in the evening, then so be it, will still clear the rubbish emails first thing.

I am still hoping to spend some time in the studio (OK Summer House) and do some watercolours,to this end I have already been down and a look, do have three sets of water colours, one for the the studio, one for working on site, plus a free palette of 24 from the Society of all Arts, at the moment I am sorting out just what colours I have more than once.

Must sort Lunch out.

It really was quite nice.

Being in a certain frame of mind have decided that I really do need to sort out a new to do ist or time table, OK I often say this, but I just cannot carry on the way that things are. Do appreciate that I try to do far too much so a complete rethink is needed, but it must be followed, even at the risk of ignoring some of the work that I have started.

The Next Few Days

If I am honest I am not quite sure, but will give a lot of thought to my new working day, no matter how long it takes to sort it out.

Rather tan go on, I will park the bus there, but feel better for chatting.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy,

Please do saty safe,

God Bless,

Stuart

Sounds like a cracking lunch.
I had to settle for chicken thighs marinated in soy sayce, ginger and garlic.
Accompanied by a glass of Tesco best apple juice.
Just have a plan to tackle one small area of garden every other day. Lots of little steps will show results. Of course, you could always put on a pulled pork and Malbec spread for WA. I’m sure you would get a good response, and you might even get them to do a little gardening for you.
Stay with it, chap.
Bux

Hi Bux, in sparkling form as usual, intend to tackle one area at a time, a small one of course! Could WA afford my cover charge. lol.

Stuart

Ha ha. Nice one. Get your gardening gloves on.

Great news for Derby County getting back into the Championship after what they have been through in the last few years Stuart, who knows... Premier League this time next year???

As for the cricket, looks like a nailed on draw to me, unless the weather plays nicely and Derbyshire collapse twice!!

What's your beer of choice over there?

As for the garden, just do what you can when you can my friend... keep things simple and tackle one task at a time!

Just like we should be doing with our businesses!!!

Take it easy ok and enjoy a wonderful start to the new week! :-)

Hi Jessie,

Think we need a lot of investment before we can think of the Premier League, agree regarding the cricket, but hope that the two batsmen can get a chance ti get their tons.

Beer canned is Abbot, draught is Pedigree or Bass.

Agree regarding the garden and the business.

Have a great week :-)

You never know Stuart, one more good season and you could be there!

Staying there however....

At least there was quite a bit of play today and one of your lads made a ton, but the draw was inevitable really!

I used to enjoy an Abbot or two back in the day, but... Pedigree or Bass were a touch too low on ABV for me!

Much appreciated my friend and you too! :-)

You must remember that my early days were spent just outside Burton-on-Trent, before I joined up, so add Worthington to that list.

Takes care :-)

Worthingtons was a pretty decent ale from what I remember Stuart!

A true "session" beer!

These day's, I prefer Belgium beers... those monks certainly know what they are doing!

Enjoy the rest of your week my friend! :-)

👍🍻

When I was young Worthington, brewed in Burton was proper falling down ale.

May you also enjoy the rest of your week. :-)

How times have changed then Stuart... last time I remember drinking it, it was about 3.5% ABV!!

Much appreciated my friend! Are you off to the cricket tomorrow??

👍👍

Just got back as it started raining so came home, it was a good toss to win!!

It was indeed Stuart and I hope that the weather holds up over the weekend my friend! :-)

Keep moving forward, Stuart, no matter how much gets done, my friend!

Have a Great new week coming up!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, also you have a great week.

You're welcome, Stuart! You bet that I plan too!

Jeff

That’s good advice Jeff.
