Difficutites in the doing
Writing a post is hard I try to come up with something that relates to my Niche but nohing seems to come to mind. How can I write a blog about shoes without copying someone else thoughts? I don't want to be a copycat, I want it to be all me.
How many ways can a person write about shoes? look I do know there are different types of shoes for every occassion I'm just having a hard time express this idea on my web. I feel like I'm copying somebody elses thought on the matter.
It's got to be a way that I can make this my own I just need a start, a start that I can run with you know?, it is starting to overwhelm me that I can't figure this out, I am at a stand still at this point or I have writers block. Its got to be something.

Well there's different brands of shoes, plus different types you can review and recommend. Remember to try and focus on the niche, not the topic. Shoes are a broad topic. Perhaps running shoes for women (men), sports shoes, shoes for martial arts, ect...
All of these niches have a bunch of products you can review.
Its important to understand that you do not have to re invent the wheel to create a good web site
Try to be a content curator not a content creator
Here is a fact - No one cares about the fact that your content is 100% original they only care that your content solves their problems
You are not trying to win the Nobel prize. just create an income from a blog that adds value to people lives and helps them solve their problems
Be helpful, and forget about being perfect

A lot of what people write originates from others. To explain, your thoughts about shoes not only come from your own personal experiences in wearing them but also from seeing them on other people, Reading about them in magazines etc. None of which are you actual personal experiences so it is ok to use other material as the basis for your work just put your unique slant on things.
Not quite sure what aspects of shoes your niche is about but you could.
Have a post on a celebrities shoe style
Shoes for different occasions.
What to wear for a wedding, Funeral etc.
Beach shoe wear
Shoes for the tall
Shoes for the short
The benefits of different type of material used in the making of shoes
Which animal provides the best leather and why?
Non-leather shoes (Vegan supported)
The best way to take care of your shoes
How to store your shoes
Shoe storage /rack reviews etc
The following will add interest if you drop in the occasional one now and again;
Articles about how shoes are made
Articles about the history of shoes Stilettos or when did high heel shoes come into fashion.
Roman shoes etc.
When did we 1st start wearing shoes and why
Was there a particular historical figure/Queen known for their shoes.
Just my none experienced thoughts (well I do wear shoes actually ;))

It is very easy to give up in the early days when writers block sets in.
Often this can be just from fear worrying whether anyone is really interested in what you have to say.
You don't have to be so fixed in some of the topics you write articles about as long as there is a link related to your niche somewhere or it is something that your niche audience might be interested in.
My thoughts may or may not be relevant but hopefully helps stimulate the brain into thinking a little broader.
Another thing I do is keep an archive of things I come across related to my niches
such as "Quotes" from people
Jokes
Funny pictures
or create a meme
Then if the brain does shut off for a few days/weeks I just make a post using one of these from my archive.

Different type of shoes popularity in different countries
Shoes in Italy
Shoes in Japan
Shoes and self-defence
shoes in espionage, Hidden compartments, Heel aerials etc
shoes as gifts
how to ensure you buy shoes that are a good fit & Comfortable

Don't worry just write down what you want to say and then organize it. You can build on someone else's blog but not copy it completely. Just express yourself. Use your inner voice, and I guarantee that people will enjoy reading your post :) Don't let writer's block get the best of you :D

Maybe you could write about how shoe styles have changed over the year and what is popular now A funny story about a pair of shoes you loved talk about how some people are addicted to shoes Talk about the shoes certain celebrities wear, whether designer shoes are worth the money.problems of getting shoes that fit and are comfortable Shoes that people wear at weddings Do a mind map with a shoe in the middle and this will bring lots of things to mind Hope this gives you some ideas
