3 Months at WA. Here's my takeaway

Three months ago, I started my journey through the WA process.

I'm 2 lessons short of finishing level 5 of the training. Recently I had to slow it down a bit because my life got incredibly busy.

My website has 11 pages and 26 blog posts, many of the blogs and my website are indexed on Google.

I'm not a great affiliate marketer. The products that match my niche are not easily found in affiliate sites. I have 57 clicks on products with an affiliate link (mostly amazon) which generated 7 sales for a total of $8 commission.

However, there are intangibles that make joining WA the best decision I've made in a while.

The Intangible Benefits of WA

I came to WA with the hopes of making enough money online to allow me to work less, as I have no retirement funds set aside and I hit 70 this year. Not that I feel old, I don't. The belief I

held was that I would simply work until my body gave out. Another reason I came was to strengthen my presence in my niche.

I never imagined that the conversations, training, comments and intra platform blogs, would feel like elders circles. Wisdom spreads out from these conversations like butter, encouraging anyone who had self doubts or questioned their ability to get things done. I've learned things that I wouldn't have expected to come from a platform such as this.

Website Support

I've had websites on many platforms. GoDaddy, Siteground, Wix and ClickFunnles to name a

few. My first was on Netscape, that'll date me. No where did I get the type of support I get here at WA.

My site used to crash every time my Theme updated at GoDaddy. It would take 4 days to fix if it was anywhere near a weekend. To add insult to injury, their support team charged me $50 per item fixed. It was quite maddening.

WA support usually responds in less than 10 minutes to an issue. They have fixed every problem I had, right away, and educated me on how to prevent it in the future. No extra charge!

Bravo to the folks in support, you are all rock stars in my book.

My Niche Authority

My traffic has increased from near 0 to almost 150k reading my blogs in the last 30 days. What

has happened that I didn't realize is that because my niche authority strengthened due to the training here at WA, my current business mushroomed!

People are reading my blogs and contacting me to find out more.

Research

Because research is required to write relevant keyword blogs, I discovered a treatment option in my niche I may have not stumbled on. Red Light Therapy, which was a blog I wrote about,

has now become an integral part of my business.

Now I see a way forward to fulfill my original intention of joining WA. I can have the Red Light devices do the work, so I don't have to, and it's scale-able. So while affiliate marketing wasn't my calling, WA helped me find what works. I will continue to be part of this family for many years to come. I know I will keep learning more, and thus continue growing and thriving.
