Hi All,

I'm just a normal guy, from a normal town, working a normal job, looking for a change in my life. Frequently, I have this not so normal dream where I fire my boss, but not for a better job or a better boss (honestly he's awesome!).. I dream of ditching the 9-5 job to go off and do my own thing. I want to control my own destiny, own the entire profit from my labor & be able to work anytime from anywhere with only the people I choose to work with. Is this to much to ask?

This is something that I have given a lot of thought over the years, but have not acted on until late 2021. I was always pulled back by friends, family & associates into believing the best path to financial security was education and a J O B ..

"go to school, get good grades & get a good job... work hard and focus on the next promotion! = different job working more hours with less freedom"

You see people putting everything in and getting little in return or worst case, given the boot, been there more then once!. How is this security? How is this being in control? Why is this considered the normal path?

I truly believe that we are ALL capable of more.. Much More!

Currently I'm building my business from the ground up and taking a minimalist approach. I focus all my energy into 2 STEPS that I believe WILL lead to success.. It really is this simple, everything falls into these 2 steps, focus on these in a constant loop, rinse and repeat:

1) LEARN! Invest time in developing your toolbox. Education, training, skill building, constant learning & most important find a mentor. Wealthy Affiliate provides an endless supply of content to develop your core business and an amazing community of like minded internet entrepreneurs.

2) ACT! You must act on what you LEARN! This means START NOW! go and DO the lessons, don't just watch the videos! You can know everything about starting and running an online business but what good is that knowledge if you fail to ACT on what you know? Once you start you will continue to learn new skills or better way of doing something then you make changes to improve what you are already doing. Don't wait for a full toolbox when you just need a hammer to get started now!

Analyze what you need to improve or what problem you need to solve then Learn it and Do it!

Be in this constant cycle of learning new things and integrating them into your business. Over time this WILL lead to success. Over time, your content WILL rank better, your traffic WILL grow and revenue WILL grow! And you will learn how many other things fall into place to compliment what you are already doing.

Continuously Learn > Act With Urgency! > Own Your Future!!
